You are wrong in both the population trends, because while the near future trends may be this, the future trends are very different.

China's population will start declining soon, and will continue to do for as far as I can imagine, due to its tremendously low fertility rate, while Russian fertility has increased, and its population decline will stabilize.

Also, I consider it interesting that you are using your population as an advantage, when everyone else here seems to consider it a curse.
