Not really, that perception too comes from the lack of knowledge of the religion.... specifically what rules and rituals have actual base in the scripture and what came about due to political manipulation.

Bareliwis , are thinking on same lines like you.........that we have the chance to take down one of the tablighi, its sectarian strife......though case of blasphemy can not be made against JJ from any angle, its nothing more than "khata" or mistake and he has apologized for that.

And your 'jahalat' is evident. Death penalty is only applied on insult of Holy Prophet P.B.U.H. If there was death penalty on insult of Sahaba, then each and every shia would have been charged with death penalty for blasphemy.


I am strictly against Jahil mob of Punjab targeting qadianis, Christians etc.........And i am against the misuse of Blasphemy law . If JJ or any tablighi advocates attacks on minorities, or they are involved in unislamic jahil mob justice, then present the proof.........

I would suggest that >99% of the rituals have come about from sources other than the primary scriptures. Faith really is not that difficult as has become.

yes and no. The issue is that fear due to lack of knowledge.. and more importantly the institutionalized fear that has been built up by the clergy of not "understanding" the ideas is where the problem lies.

Of course, it is to the clergy's benefit in both influence and power terms, if they can convince their flock of dire consequences of not listening to them. The only way to get out of this situation lies in education and economic development, a fact not lost on the present day clergy.

@Samandri Better get your sarcasm detector on, because you haven't understood my post, not even in the slightest. I have no interest in seeing him hanged or served justice by mobs, that is called deep sarcasm, I dont believe that God or any religious personality needs mortal protection from the state of Pakistan. So you see that I dont wish death to people on the name of whom I call "mercy for both worlds". I wished to see the extent of religious hypocrisy and double standards and I have witnessed it, in this case and en masse if I may add. A whole group of people and Mullahs alike, asking forgiveness for the blasphemer when they wouldn't even have said a word, when other people get lynched on accusations forget ever getting the chance to ask for fogiveness or repentance and the others making silly excuses for him on how what happened, didn't happen and its a mere simple mistake. Ironic! When are you people, posting day and night on FB, going to accept the same of Shaista Wahidi and Geo TV because after all they have apologized too?

Dont tag me with the people attacking Geo and Shaista lodhi, they are the same bunch who are now targeting Junaid Jamshaid.
I dont follow mobs and crowds, people were angry on GEOs for their stance on military and aman ki asha, the shaista's show was a pretension to throttle them...........This is indeed munafiqat and shallow following of islam. A sharabi paleed crowd , not praying even nimaz, would burn down a christian couple, on false charges.........you think Allah will be pleased with that paleed napak crowd ?they will be thrown into jahanam

I think you are not following news lately. Several cases were filed against them in different parts of country. Gilgit Baltistan High-court sentenced 3 persons for life in prison, including Shaista Wahidi and Mir Shakeel (GEO owner). All of them have fled the country.
