But Islamabad has insisted that India’s role in Afghanistan be restricted and complained about the Indian support for the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) accused by Islamabad of terrorism in Pakistan. If I were given to what-aboutery, as you and other Pakistani members of your way of thinking are, I could pull out dozens of examples of your own officials, not agents who have switched sides and are now seeking the protection and warmth that these preposterous confessions will buy them, but appointed officials who have proudly acknowledged the extent to which Pakistani 'support' has taken the state. An extent that has led to the country's reputation in the eyes of counter-terrorist officials the globe over, not merely in south Asia.
