Shareef has challenged the establishment too much now. He's not getting back.

Karachi is Pakistan. Now this notion that karachi was brought to Pakistan by muhajirs on their way from Bihar in dowry and this perception that's being created is that somehow they did ehsan on Pakistan by settling in Karachi and later let locals to come live there. And now they need extra pampering isn't gonna work anymore. Punjabis are bad, sindhis are bad, Pashtuns are bad, Balochs are bad. Pakistanis gave their economic hub to migrants on platter, gave them bureaucratic jobs, adapted (read enforced) Urdu as national language. It seems from the posters here that harmony between ethnicities is a lost cause in Pakistan - Karachi is proof of it. Its time to end this experiment and let ethnic genocide take its place - that will satisfy many here and probably shape Pakistan or whatever it is called in the future.

If that were true, there wouldn't be more Afghans in Karachi than your Lahore or Rawalpindi. Karachi has more Siraikis than any northern Punjabi "hub" like Sialkot or Rawalpindi etc.

You have totally diverted the thread topic...Yes, considering our only 8% population in whole Pakistan - we surely punched above our weight and did lot for Pakistan.....

In Karachi perspective, Punjabis are saved due to Urdu speaking otherwise everyone knows the love Sindhi joe have for Punjabis.

Punjabi lot would be getting killed here in Sindh too like Balochistan if not for Urdu walas.....Knowingly or unknowingly, Urdu guys neutralized Sindhi nationalism by forming MQM.

Jinnah Chose Karachi as capital....and they took it to Islamabad. No one talks about it.

All I know is Karachi has ample reasons to go rogue...Frustration is already there.

Urdu walas didn't blow Punjabis or Pashtuns up when they arrived in Karachi.

People of coastal and international cities are always open minded and have accepting culture as they are more exposed to trade and other activities.

Dude what has challenged? Its all bullshit crap drama that we are seeing. Who let shareefs out? Who let maryam out? Who is stopping to banned all shareefs from the media? Who is encouraging bilawal/zardari to do politics? What mainstream media? If you tune your TV they are only discussing buzdar and punjab. We have kpk and there is a CM called mehmood Khan we have a balochi CM jam kamal nobody questioning ppp the way they destroying sindhis and karachiites under the umbrella of establishment but 24/7 discussing buzdar and punjab. Now question is why buzdar? Because if we continously blames buzdar then we have a place for shareefs again in punjab for future and its a systematic support that media and establishment are giving to shareefs. The way they banned mqm and altaf please do the same with shareefs and ppp but it is not possible because we are living in brahman society where each ethnicity's have a grading system.
I want shareefs zardaris maulana and all baster.ds to be banned permanently and divide this country into 8 or 9 provinces with equal administrative powers. Damn when that will happen God knows.

Open up history books and may search here in PDF; you will find lots of threads detailing the political, social reasons for former FATA problems, Balochistan problems. As far as Afghans, saraikis or whoever going to Karachi to settle is the same reason Muhajirs went to Karachi to settle. Big city with better economic prospects. No one is stopping muhajirs to come live in Lahore or Faisalabad or Rawalpinid. But again some just can't leave their bad habits of ethnic bashing and playing victim card.
