Jordanian MP visits Israel - gets expelled from his party

From Ammon News (Jordan):

The Islamist Centrist Party (ICP) decided on Monday to expel Member of Parliament Mohammad Asha Al-Dawaymeh from both the political party and its parliamentary bloc following a probe into his reported recent visit to Israel.

An ICP source told Ammon News that the deputy was subjected to questioning by the party regarding his recent visit to Israel, and attending a reception held by Israeli President Shimon Peres celebrating Israel's so-called "Independence Day," marking 65 years of the founding of Israel, considered the Palestinian Nakba of 1948.
...

Al-Dawaymeh told Ammon News earlier this week that...the purpose of his visit was to defend the cause of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque.

ICP issued a statement on Monday stating that the party's parliamentary bloc met with ICP's political committee and decided unanimously to expel Al-Dawaymeh, citing his visit to the "Zionist entity" and his attendance of a reception and shaking hands with the "criminal" Peres, according to the statement.

"The Bloc and Political Committee voted unanimously to expel him considering that such acts violate the party's principles and foundations that reject all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity," the statement added.

Last I checked, Jordan still had a peace treaty with Israel.

This is the best kind of "peace" Israel could ever realistically hope to see with its Arab neighbors.

. . .
This is what you get when you make peace with Arabs.

And then some people wonder why Israel doesn't trust them.

We don't trust you. People don't see but your committed massacres on TV. What do you think their perspective of you would be?

You sign a peace treaty and then you don't act peaceful.

We signed a peace treaty with you and all you've had from us is peace.

Have our soldiers gunned down your school girls? have we sanctioned politicians that visit you?

We have kept to the peace, you are going back on it everyday with your attitudes.

don't mind him... HE LOVES YOU DOWN DEEP IN HIS HEART... he is just pretending... you know..

Now let's stop teasing eachothers, I wanted to show you that throwing nonsense works both ways and others can act stupid too. ;)

Anyway, Peace wouldn't work with Iran and it's proxies being around. Our people haven't dealt with Israelis, and all they know about them is that they are murderers. It's a long story but believe me, peace will work fine after getting rid from the obstacles. We will get to know eachothers, and time will heal everything.

You're wrong bro, he hates us almost as much as you.

He just loves our anthem though. It's solemn, but catchy.

if Jordan didn't love, do you think "king" Hussien would have warned you of the Syrian/Egyptian surprise attack ?
come on man... you know it... and the current "king" loves you more...

.
Arent the Jordanian F16s equipped with the Friend/Foe system that does not allow it to engage Israel fighters ?

Nonsense bro, if so no body would have bought them. Pls, most of ours were bought from Netherlands and Belgium and upgraded in Turkey. And this would be helpful:

So Iran gets out of the way and then who steps in? the Salafists or something. :undecided: The MB is winning in the middle east elections.

I hope Jordan doesn't go the same way. No one (well, no one in the stupid liberal western media) thought Egypt would vote for the MB. The BBC were telling us that the MB only had 15% of the vote in Egypt.

You got it wrong bro.

Israel called up Jordan and were like "Shalom...there's a war...don't get involved please...we don't want to kick your ***"

Problem is, Egypt duped Jordan. They called up Jordan and were like "Salam alaikum King...the Israelis are about to attack you bro...watch out"

So Jordan believed Egypt and entered the war.

Then we got the Uzis out and went to town. Got our Jerusalem back and the rest is history.

Don't worry, we've taken good care of it and allowed the Jordanians to have control over the Al Aqsa.

Those can be easily dealt with as everybody is against them. Egyptians will learn their lesson by electing the MB, and hopefully they will not get elected again. That's my point, terrorist groups and terrorist countries like Iran are using Palestinian issue to mess up the region, by delaying achieving full peace, you are breading extremism. Moderates would be proved wrong and titled as traitors and their influence would diminish.

Hmmm. Aren't you worried though if Assad falls to the Al-Nusra guys, that we're going to have them on our borders?

As for peace. Bibi scraped in by the skin of his teeth in the Israeli election. His philosophy is making the Palestinians more prosperous. The idea is that if they have more prosperity, they will be less inclined to orchestrate attacks.

That's all well and good - but at some point you have to move beyond that.

The Palestinians have made pre-conditions before they will even meet to discuss peace. First they said halt all settlements, then they said to release prisoners and recently they said that borders have to be "defined" before meetings.

So three massive preconditions to even meet for talks.

I'll be honest, the Palestinians don't seem to be in a hurry for a state. They seem to be enjoying the political games at the UN etc.

Meh, we'll see.

What? I'm talking about the 1973... when "king" Hussien went and met with Golda Meir to warn her of Syria's and Egypt's attack...
