Jordan is not happy with Chinese CH-4B Armed Drones.

Here is the context in which Jordan said that..while wishing to get American drones:

Lawmakers press Trump to approve drone sales to Jordan, UAE

Washington (CNN)A bipartisan group of nearly two dozen House members is urging President Donald Trump to OK sales of high-tech armed drones to Jordan and the United Arab Emirates after the Obama administration nixed the move.

In a letter obtained by CNN, the lawmakers argued that the two Arab countries are allies in the ISIS fight, and also made an economic pitch to Trump: Jordan and the UAE are turning to China instead to buy armed drones.

The purchase of the drones from San Diego-based defense contractor General Atomics would provide $1 billion for the US economy and "preserve thousands of US manufacturing jobs," the lawmakers wrote in the letter to Trump, which was led by California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter.

The Obama administration opposed the sale of the MQ-9 Reaper, an upgraded version of the iconic US Predator drone, to Jordan, UAE and other Middle Eastern allies. The administration argued the technology should not be shared beyond close allies under the terms of the Missile Technology Control Regime, a 30-year-old agreement that aims to limit the spread of missile technologies as well as drones.

European allies like Britain and Italy have been sold the MQ-9 Reaper. The UAE was able to acquire the unarmed version of General Atomics' Predator XP drone, according to Jane's Defense Weekly, while Jordan has not.
Hunter, whose San Diego district includes General Atomics, pressed the Obama administration to allow Middle East allies to buy the Reaper and Predator drones in a 2015 Wall Street Journal op-ed, calling Jordan a key partner fighting ISIS.
General Atomics declined to comment.

Thursday's letter was signed by 20 Republicans, mostly on the House Armed Services Committee, and two California Democrats.

The Trump administration has already signaled that it's open to looser standards when it comes to weapons exports, telling Congress last month it would remove the human rights conditions the Obama administration attached to the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Bahrain. The Trump administration has also signaled to Congress it wants to move forward with the sale of fighter jets to Nigeria, according to congressional aides.

The administration has not yet indicated whether it is examining loosening the rules of selling armed drones to Middle Eastern countries. A White House spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.

China delivered 100th Wing Loong unmanned aerial system for export

Some can only admire Chinese export product quantity and amount of users.... :enjoy:

Another 100 wing loong to go... Total 200 will need to be delivered. And this is wing loong series. Not including CH-4/5 sales...

Yes yes, buyer not happy but somehow Iraq and Egypt are both repeated customers with the more order

Maybe both countries are stupid according to some sourgraped :enjoy:

Friend,

China have demonstrated the capability to develop high-tech drones, and nobody is disputing this fact. However, China does not face much competition in this market either; some countries are reluctant to export their high-tech drones to other countries which are reportedly better than Chinese options. American high-tech drones are renowned for their capabilities worldwide for instance, but not approved for export to other countries yet. Pakistan Army was also interested in buying MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper drones [with hard cash] but was refused, therefore, Pakistan Army settled for Chinese options.

No need to take these matters at heart; different customers have different tastes. Some of your customers might be satisfied with your products but other desire better. Some of the countries in the Middle East have developed a taste for purely high-end gear, and American companies have gone extra mile to cater to their needs in its dealings.

Another reality is that a product might have fantastic build-quality but might not sell well. I bear witness to this fact at personal capacity because I have been a part of the Pakistani business community for a while.

Turkey is a member of NATO, and is known to develop NATO-standard products on average.

Chill, and drink a coke. :)

Egypt asked for improvements and are buying a new model that is designed to fix issues Egypt had with drone.

Look at these chinese trolls

this is chinese drone image quality

and this is turkish drone image quality

my phone camera records better videos than chinese drones lol
Not a way to compare. How far was the Chinese drone and how far was the Turkish drone from target???

The Chinese team uses total number of costumers as a proof to prove the quality of their drones. No matter how wierd this logic is. On the other hand, As reliable sources prove that many ME countries using Chinese drones voice complaints about quality and bad experience. Link capability, interoperability, electro-optic payload, service ceiling performance are the main issues. Most probably, Egypt also suffers some of those issues regarding Chinese sytems.

I am totally ok if someone can really back up their words with real article and true facts from well written article about problem with Chinese UCAV but facts is , most of the accusation are from shabby Twitter or Facebook post with little reliability and virtually no explanation for root cost. I am sure you all are aware of the extreme biased anti China campaign by the west by spreading misinfo.

Still remember the heated argument about PA selection of next gen MBT? Many members are so negative about VT-4 tank and near in stage of calling it a junk based on false Facebook bogus source. Many think it will loses the competition against T-84 oplot. End up what? All those slayers eat the humble pie when well informed sources say VT-4 won the trial test and is selected as next MBT.

I think I do not need to elaborate further here.

Somehow you can ignore the fact, Egypt and Iraq are repeat customers. If they are so unhappy about Chinese UCAV used in actual combat. Why would the buy back from the same country? Looks more like a slap for those who bad mouth China UCAV. :enjoy: This is basic common sense.

Let me say again. So far your source of accusation about complaint of Chinese UCAV are Facebook post and shabby post with little explanation and u are so quick to jump on the bandwagon to start your agenda.

Jordan decommission Chinese UCAV has nothing to do with quality but politic as previous poster has already made the post that US provided generous USD 1 billion aid to ask for US UCAV and drop Chinese UCAV.

Talking about lack of competition is also BS. Why your dear Tukrmenistan, kazhastan, Uzberkistan go for Chinese UCAV since they have closed ties with Turkey? China UCAV beats you soundly fair and square and is selected by them. :enjoy:

You get the best bang of buck from Chinese drones - we have highly efficient technical workers and not paying pentagon janitors $200/hour like Uncle Sam does. Actually due to quick de-industrialization, USA is losing technical know-how and their militarily is increasingly relying on Chinese supply chain, there is an article recently about that.

Plus China has higher end improved drones, like CH5 over CH4, satellite data linked, stealth drones etc, you just need cough up more money.

Trust me, friend, we are not too dumb to tell the difference between constructive criticism and maliciously lies and smears from Turks.

We can always take honest criticism from Pakistan friends.

In reality we will sell UAVs to countries cant buy from USA or Israel because of some reasons also which are unhappy about China.
China will sell to countries in the ME which are unhappy about Turkey.
Also you have political and prize advantage you can sell much more than us to small countries. Thats all. China hasnt got much more than us in UAV sector.
