.
In order to avoid another pilot being captured by ISIL, the United States military moved search-and-rescue aircraft to northern Iraq.

Previously, the closest such aircraft were in Kuwait.
I would rather a sidearm to put into my mouth just incase.

carpet bombardment is only way left to clean raqqa

I m still surprised that why US have not used B-52s & B-1Bs in ops against ISIS as they have used them in Afghanistan & Iraq.

COIN warfare this time not conventional. And even if ISIS is fighting in the open from time to time, it's using maneuver warfare with mobile pick-up trucks. The only good thing B-52's can do here is flatten cities which they won't do. B-1's are used in Syria.

With long range loiter time and huge ordinance capability and weapons like SDBs B-52s can bring hell to ISIS. They can contain ISIS in cities as it will be very difficult for them to move around while those are flying over head.

I think the AC-130 is a lot more suitable than B-52.

I think Raqqa needs cheap unguided Su-25 bombardment, it's full of terrorists and their supporters, others have already left. Iraq should place more orders.
I think SAA already started something major at Raqqa. Coordinating with Jordan albeit tacticly?

The link contains info on the latest strikes.

In English, 47 daesh pigs killed, 2 weapon depots destroyed and 20 hostages killed by daesh cowards for trying to escape during the strikes.
