Azad Kashmir, you are looking at Kashmir in the wrong light. The Indian army might not be very popular in Kashmir, but do you know the kind of cruelty the militants in Kashmir subject the locals to?
If the militants where really pro-Kashmir, just take a look at how situation in Kashmir has deteriorated since the insurgency started back in '89. and yes, the Indian army have not been angels and innocents have been killed in the past. But you have to also look at how many Kashmiri civilians have been killed, raped or harassed by the militant groups.
But things are improving in Kashmir. Militancy is decreasing and order is being restored, albeit slowly. India is also lowering number of troops stationed in Kashmir. Please, come see it for yourself if possible. And then decide if your hatred is justified.
You have to decide if you really want to fight for the people of Kashmir, or against the Republic of India. Decide if it is the love for Kashmir or hate for India which drives you to fight. If it is the former, the n you can join many approved communities, both online and in kashmir itself, that fight for the rights of Kashmiris.
But if it hate that drives you, then you can join the mujahideen groups. But realise that you will be fighting a nation based solely on the principle of hate, not on the basis of love for your motherland.
Kashmir is not a black and white case. Its not a case of good vs evil. So be careful when choosing sides. Because you may never be able to forgive yourself if you choose the wrong side on an impulse.
