It is very sad to see the descendants of the great Cholas have submitted themselves to Delhi's subjugation. I guess if the Cholas were alive, they would have committed suicide than living under these conditions, they never bowed down to the northerners.

a valid point - the problem with Tamilnadu-Tamils - for the past 50 odd yrs, they have been ruled by non Tamils under the guise of Dravidianism. These Dravidian politicians have kept Tamils subjugated through movie/stars , freebies, alcohol etc. The Dravidian parties have deviated from the original ideology - Independent Tamilnadu and are subservient to Northerners. Tamil mindset (pride, change, freedom) needs overhauling, which is an uphill task.

Interesting, so it's the cultural aggression that made the Tamils being subjugated?

What about hegemony over knowledge? How are the school textbooks in Tamil Nadu? Do they properly state the real history of the region, like the golden era of the Cholas and how they resisted all the northern invasions?

It was bengali leaders from Bangladesh who after fearing same fate as rulers of Usmanistan, i.e. Hyderabad Deccan, stony lobbied for a united country of Pakistan. Two nation theory has evolved into Three nation theory.

Ideally, the Four nation theory is the best solution to South Asian problems.

Indus Water Treaty has little to do with what's happening in the state.

if the treaty was scrapped off, you won't be having water to drink right now.

Even your former ministers have admitted that the water mismanagement by your punjab state government is the cause of water shortage.

Ironically two nation theory has been betrayed by the nation that was created de novo based on that theory i.e. Pakistan; and to some extent by the people who created it i.e. communal minded section of Indian muslims.

Because otherwise Pakistan would not have closed its borders for Indian Muslims and Indian muslims would have got Pakistani citizenship by default like the jews and Israel.
