The will literate Maududi had declared the Islamic Kashmir Jihad as un-Islamic but according to JI’s Qazi, the ruthless killing spree of innocent Muslim men, women and kids at the hands of Hindus backed brutal fasad in Muslim country; Pakistan is Jihad. What a hoax and what a paradox? What to believe; his alleged literacy or the authentic illiteracy of the alleged Qazi?

I have read details of this issue.

AA Maududi said in theory that Pakistan should abide by treaties and agreements with India, as an Islamic principle and in light of realities like any possible reaction done to Muslims in India etc.

However, later when he noticed that some basic assumptons were not as he thought, he retracted his stand!

Also, his stand was for the most part manipulated by then political/ government agents.

Lets say he was totally wrong in his stand. Even then it is great that he did not make it his ego centric stand and changed. I ake that as a good sign in our leaders and people.

Not to forget that JI is the largest if not one of the largest in support of Kashmiris for decades.
