Iam sure we are still carrying the exocet missile for the mirages correct?

Yes, Mirs do and will continue to carry Exocet because of limitations of Agave/ Cyrano radar which is not compatible with C-80x series.

.
NO!
Agosta 90b carries exocet and agosta 70 are capable of carrying harpoon!

PN uses C-803 that is for sure, unfortunately I cant share internet links..

Yes, Agosta 90B (Khalid-class) is armed with SM-39.. I was specifically referring to some reports that claimed Khalid Class was using C-803, although not authentic.

high price asked by French. You could buy a C-802 at that price!

Thanks for sharing verifiable numbers and sources at your disposal.

According to the Indonesian navy, the cost of c-802 is less than half of the French MM40 Exocet block II
http://china-defense.blogspot.com/2011/03/indonesia-to-produce-c-802-at-home.html

Now, just so we're not comparing apples to oranges, have you factored in that the existing platforms are already fitted to accept earlier Exocet versions (but not Chinese AShMs) and does C-802 deliver the following features and capabilities at that apparently more advantageous price?
According to MBDA, the new configuration extends the weapon's over-the-horizon capability from 70 km to a maximum range of 180 km, utilizing on-board GPS, and the introduction of land-attack mode, enabling operators to set target coordinates in longitude, latitude and elevation. This new capability significantly enhances the missile's anti-ship capability, as the new Block 3 can approach the target through a preplanned 3D flight trajectory, performing the terminal attacks from the least predictable direction, at very low sea skimming altitude. For the terminal phase guidance, the missile utilizes a J-band active radar seeker with adaptive search patterns which selectively discriminates between targets at sea and GPS designated coastal based targets.

The missile are complemented by a new version of the mission planning system, enabling operators to maximize the use of the new features exploiting the missile's capability to penetrate the target's defenses.

The Block 3 airframe design is optimized with low signature characteristics. Its extended range is derived by a new propulsion system that includes a booster and turbojet sustainer, feeding from four air intakes which provide high maneuverability at the terminal phase.
Exocet Block III Anti-Ship Missile Modernizion

Estimates cost of an MM 40 in 2002 was $2 million
The US Naval Institute Guide to world naval weapon systems (N. Friedman) p522
(non-block 3 base price in 2002)

A/R/UGM-84L Harpoon Block II: $3.2 million – (based on Turkish and Pakistani requests
...
MM-40 Block 3 Exocet: $3.5-4 million – (based on costs of similar Harpoon models)
SM-39 Exocet: $4.5-5 million - (based on Malaysian buy)
AM-39 Exocet: $3.5-4 million – (based on costs of similar Harpoon models)

^^^ Lolll...

Sir do you second the title of this thread? JFT to be armed with YJ-83 (C-803)?

.
before backing the thread title, which seem just fine to me, let us remember that we (Pakistan) have three versions in active service. C-802, 802A and 803. Which variant is going to be armed on naval JFT is a bit vague at this moment. Pics suggest both C-802A and recent one with 802KD or YJ-83. time will tell what we see but the aircraft can be armed with both versions.

@ OP....
Please change the title of this thread...
if you dont know why i.am saying this..read this.

Still not convince by sources/support for the claim of c-803. JF-17 block 1 has c-802K (airlaunched variant of c-802A). Only just now is it seen with c-803 in China: very unlikely that c-803 airlaunched is available for current jf-17s of PAF. Which leaves naval service claims (F22P and newest subs), both unconfirmed.

I have no intention of convincing you. I know what i am talking about. You keep looking internet sources. The c-803 is being tested on our request, not anyone else. Also, it is in service with Pak Navy.
