So ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor clearly said "No F-16s were involved". And we have keyboard warriors here insisting that F-16s WERE involved. I have to say what a shameless bunch. Your credibility is ZERO but you still insist that you are right all along.

Just take this in perspective of situation Problem is what do we know? nothing!

we dont even know what did we hit! we have names of 3 targets for sure one ammunition dump, Div HQ, Brigade HQ dont know about others except 6 x targets were attack on 27th Feb where is that KG Top in IOK what was at KG top? nothing?

All we know we shot down 2 IAF fighters one identity is confirmed as MiG-21bison. other again since it crashed in IOK. Our Air chief say to Reputed Air Forces Monthly Correspondent its a Su-30MKI but tell you the truth where is the proof? we dont have it? except 2 x chutes in video.

IAF press brief tell us there were 24 aircraft. IAF press brief shows exploded AMRAAM they also tell 6 x IAF aircrafts were scrambled. whole battle narrative is built by IAF press brief.

We did not have that information DG ISPR was very specific. nothing at all!

then it makes space for speculations..this is what is happening...I do not understand the wisdom behind not hold a proper press brief except military operations are on going....

One thing which i am able to understand is there is much more explaining is required now then it was on DG ISPR presser of 27th Feb 19.

DG ISPR has his own reasons. But people associated with the forces have a fair idea what was used.

There is nothing shameless about it. Nor its about the credibility. If you think it were not the F-16's then how do you explain AMRAAM remains inside IoK?

Indians started to thump chest post Feb 27 because they knew DG ISPR is not speaking the truth.

Lastly, I know some of the pilots personally and professionally who were in the formation. Wg Cmdr Nauman is still flying vipers in No.29 Sqn while S/L Hassan is attached with CCS flying the F-16s.

There is nothing keyboard warrior about this. Facts remain as it is.

So my dear airomerix, they are lots of things that does not match up as well. I am quite certain that PAF has shot down far more IAF jets then 2.

If you are in the know...cough it up the number! because what i have is based upon Indian information that 2 x Mirage 2000i, 2 x MiG-21BISON, 4 x Su-30MKI were in air at the time of engagement. there is a logical conclusion that more aircraft were scrambled may be 2 x Su-30MKI and 6 x MiG-21BISONs in 5-6mins...

now as per indian version atleast 5-6 amraam shots were taken excluding JF17s shots. so there has to be more kills as you said "when 1st call of splash 1 came its was logical that who ever had what in scope take a shot at it"

Im pretty sure the DG ISPR meant to say F-16s were not used in the strike against the Indian Army targets, which was done by the Mirages. He just didnt elaborate and left some ambiguity in his answer.

Indian AMRAAM theory is already debunk by seniors/Professional, that serial number of that AMRAAM was purchased by Taiwan and F-16 were not in the strike package but doing CAP all along the IB/LOC and JF-17 +SD-10A combo shot down 2 indian jets not F-16 +AMRAAM combo as per various seniors/professional members here @airomerix

Incorrect,

That document was false and Taiwanese Defense Forces themselves rejected it when they approached by international media.

It is our missile.

And I will not be responding to you anymore since I feel you lack the knack of keeping a discussion healthy. Nothing personal.

Thanks.

What you're saying brings alot of speculation in the equation. It is possible and who knows it might have happened. But what I've been told by pilots who took part in the operation, there was no mention of anymore missiles launched or any other jet being shot except a bison and a flanker.

Also PAF never jumps to claim victories it has not achieved. We could have easily acclaimed Mi-17's kill and no one would bat an eye. But we did not.

What I know for certain it, that day there were multiple radar locks in the engagement. There was a point, when 8 jets, 4 PAF and 4 IAF aircraft had missile locks on each other. The only difference rested with the guy who would press that red button.

Exactly. Also even if F-16's were used against targets on the ground. Why tell the world and the US particular that we are bombing your potential F-21 customer. Wouldnt settle well at Capitol. :D

You are ryt. I also confirmed with a PAF piilot

This 4 x 4 engagement is Battle between F-16s and Su-30MKI.

My questions are valid...why PAF in withholding information and claims

Just for the sake of battle testing, why didn't jf-17 fired any BVR's. Or they couldn't get a lock, or were the f-16's entirely leading the air front.
And if we captured the second pilot, did the jet also landed here of iaf, or the jet fell across and pilot drifted here?

What i understand JF17s(No.14 Sqn) also take shots and as well F-16s(No.29 Sqn CCS) perched at top (35-40k) and No.9 Sqn F-16s that were behind 60 seconds as well.

There are for sure more kills than 2.

The JF-17's were primarily tasked with escorting Mirages.

Once Mirages exited the war theatre, 2 x JF-17s engaged the intruders as a support to 2 other F-16 formations in the zone. Radar locks were acquired successfully. Why the missile wasnt fired was a primary decision of AOC CAC who was airborne in one of the F-16s as a GIBS.

The Air Boss!

I agree we know a lot less than what has happened. The problem is not solved by the fact that ISPR is claiming 2 CONFIRMED destroyed planes(M21+MKI). There is another M21 that went down in Indian Kashmir on the same time and claimed to be technical fault( if a Missile lodged up your rear end can be considered a technical fault!!! ). There is also an unconfirmed news of an M2K down but cannot be corroborated. So I say they lost 3 platforms 2 M21s +MKI. This is my analysis based on open sourced media reports. I cannot say whether there were more but these seem likely.

would like to see the second mig21 crash link/news?
and where are you hearing the M2K news

this would explain why india decided to retaliate with missle strike rather than using airforce again..

this would also mean that india will order further rafales soon and will also go ahead with 120+ single jet engine

2nd it; they are complimentary.

Any one have any inputs if A-darter is still on the roadmap for jf-17s?
with chinese option maturing fast and no french avionics coming..i say its finished
