Stop arguing based on rumors and unverified claims. A valid proof of Su30 MKI shot down by PAF would be a picture of wreckage(Su30)...or PAF claiming with IAF confirming that indeed an MKI was shot down. So far none of that has happened. U said that JF17 shot down a Su30 MKI and provided proof by showing a picture of AMRAAM? How is that proof? It's missile's wreckage...not Su30's. Moreover AMRAAMs cannot be used with JF17s. So how can u use that as evidence that a JF17 shot down a Su30? Don't turn into an Indian...and follow the proper process of verification based on clear evidence/proof. Until further evidence emerges... give it a rest.

Here is a chronology of the shoot downs of the IAF planes by the PAF.

1) – 1 x Mig 21 Shot down – Abhi - 27th Feb 2019

All crashes on the 27th Feb 2019 and India starts the great cover up operation.

Shoot downs number 3), 4) do stick out like a sore thumb given they were “also” on the same day as the shoot down of Abhi etc.

Chances are items 1 & 2 were JF17. Items 3 & 4 were F16s. PAF denies Items 3 & 4 due to denying F16 use in that incident due to American pressure to save India further embarassment and threat of F16 related sanctions if PAF doesnot comply.

Modi would not have made his comments about poor IAF performance, if IAF had only lost 1 aircraft, 2.. maybe he would.. but 4 lost on that day, that was what his comment was about for sure. If you try to explain what happened that day(with eye witness reports + videos of parachutes + ISPR initial comments on muber of pilots + Imran Khans comments of 2 Migs shot down etc ) then all accounts sound inconsistent and contradict each other until you settle on the shoot down of 3 IAF Jets. It all clicks together when you correlate with 3 IAF jets( 2 x Mig21 + 1 x Su30MKI ) shot down that day.

I wonder how Airforces Monthly will cover this. Alan Warnes has good contacts inside PAF.

Honestly in return, and who are you that you believe everything without any doubts? Or are facts irrelevant as long as the news fits your opinion?

Me too I have some sort of favour, but overall I'm interested in the truth and facts. So if there is a Su-30MKI downed it is fine but I believe it only with confirmation. In the same way I would regret a downed F-16, but I believe Indians claims also only after proof.
And until this is not given, both claims are nothing but unconfirmed claims.

I find it strange that most often the same who deny any IAF claims are the same who believe everything the PAF reports and vice versa. At least for me everything without proper proof remains unconfirmed.

Indian media also says PAF F16 was shot down and a whole bunch of other lies. Why are u selectively believing some of what they say and not other things? Either u take Indian media as a credible source of info or u don't.

the way they tried to prove that f-16 was shot is full of lies. first they talked about some serial no written by a marker on a piece of the wreckage and tried to prove it as f-16 which later on proved to be a lie. then they talked about an engine part of the wreckage but their lie was busted by their own engineers on media.the pix of the madrassh they showed were either old or photoshopped. so in a nutshell whatever indian media claims about the victories of their military have been proven as untrue.
