I think you dont know that even some of the things that Muradk told me were subsequently proven to be incorrect.The same is the case with pshamim and Hkhan. The point I am trying to make is all that the people are reporting are interests and intentions. We in our hurry to break the news transmit and then subsequently things taķe another turn and dont materialize as we expected it to. This is not spreading rumours. If you dont like a post then ignore it. But dont argue over something that can neither proven nor disproven.

Perhaps janab the reason is that many information sources are hearsay and gossip. In addition, many things do really change. Take the JF-17 program itself, back in 2008 a gentleman who is now the main man for the program was looking at a 100 by today.. the same man in 2011 did not think we would get 50 by this year thanks to the smiling man's corruption emptying our bank accounts.

Forgive me for sounding like a fanboy but i must ask if expecting structural changes in blk 3's airframe would be making too much of the above statement.

There may be structural changes just there are structural changes in Block-2 which were applied to all previous blocks(Hint: it is the reason why the Crash happened).

You are exactly on the money. The reason things were allegedly incorrect was mainly because of change of plans dictated by lack of resources or perhaps undesirable conditions . The post was in response to one of the posters making fun of another one with regards to a news he had posted.
Case in point Pakistan made a pact with Bangladesh for selling some tanks. Someone broke the news on a forum. The neighbours put so much pressure on the parties that Bangladesh backed out of the deal. The gentleman has since gone fairly quiet.

News is exactly right BLK 2 will be formally inducted in PAF in 2-3 days after 23rd March. The exciting news is, it also shows 2P04 prototype in yellow in KAMRA . Its also announced that 25 aircraft's each year will be produced from now on. 2P-13 WAS SHOWN IN CHINA. I THINK WITH THE HELP OF CHINA THIS YEAR 25 ANOTHER WITH 4 WILL BE MANUFACTURED. As its clear from news that after 29th aircraft flight at the end of this year FEWER JF-17 will appear with IFR .

Hi Friends
Can someone please highlight what percentage block-2 has been improved from block-1 if see compare both? In reality how much cost and teeth block2 has got over block1? I know actual specs are not publicized.
Will there be no block-1 in PAF any more all block-1 will be upgraded to block-2?
