Soon we will witness thunder in this configuration. True air superiority mode...

f16 can load six sidewinders and six aim-120 as well and combination of missile can be increased by adding multiple missile rails.

jf-17 will normally load 4 SD10s and 2 pl-5/aim-9l.but it is believed that jf 17 will also be fitted with Chinese multiple missile rail for SD10,so the maximum numbers of missile on jf17 could reach to total 10 missile and belly fuel tank.but it wont be necessary.combination of 4 sd10 would be perfect for light fighter plane.

They can, its not a big issue, all they need is a double rack pylon and the necessary changes in the weapons mgt system and integration with avionics. Which i believe would have already been thought of and integrated.

If they can have two bombs on multiple racks, then why not A2A missiles.

Well my guess is that as the first 2 Sqds are for ground attack purpose, we may not see much of such things, as in testing phases, we also saw ground munitions, then in the recent exercises, they were shown with ground attack bombs and when the first Pakistan assembled and made JF-17 was shown, it had the AWC made cluster bomb under the pylons, thus it means the first 2 Sqds would be for ground attack role, but the later variants would be for air superiority role, which nabil also told a few posts above that soon we may see the air superiority version.
