^Mr. appointed-researcher still quoting a JFT mpty weight of ~6400kg when PAF advertised it in Zhuhai2010 to be ~6700kg.

^if you read the post carefully , you will see ive said the data is 2 years old -- and even with the old obsolete data jft can easily hold its own in the field of carrying standoff weapons.......i purposely gave the old data for jft as the ra'ad data i was comparing it to , was also old -- i dont think its the wt of the newly tested raad

empty weight 13,904 lb/6,320 kg
Chengdu JF-17 Xiaolong/Thunder - CombatAircraft.com

Empty weight: 6,411kg
izmir link in previous post

Empty Weight 14,520 lb/6586 kg
Pakistan Aeronautical Complex

Empty weight: 6,586kg
key publishing

you can also check jft info pool in which hatf has converted the latest pac jft specs from pounds to kg -- provided by meanbird

All the values that i am aware of are under 6600kg rather than your qouted 6700kg

i will not argue over a couple hundred kg weight difference in different sources as this thread is about jft evolution

regards
Mr. appointed-researcher

Antibody great work brother on the video thanks for sharing keep up the good work.

But structurally it would be impossible to further arm it more than 1 RAAD missile since it is a light fighter and has limited payload. So how would performance be measured even if you test cruise missiles on a light platform? Thanks in advance.
Raad is mot yet tsted on jf-17 ..atleast not officially may be its operational with it.
Raad is extensively tested on mirage ..
so now use your sense which is called common sense..it can easily be carried by a jf-17 along with other surface to surface weapons..
only issue is that whether it can be carried on the under body main hard point as mirages or whether it can be added to wing hardpoint too. i think not..but on central hard point definitely yes..

quiet intersting that this thrust will give it a thrust equal to mirage2000..so saying engine is bottle neck to jf-17 isnt a credible argument any more

 ... Its air to surface.

With more and more composites, that would be used in future JF-17 blocs, the weight is going to be reduced further. Even if it is somewhat of an argument right now, I do not think it will be one in 1-3 years time.

^ thanks ! you should post it on your site , as jft evolution needs awareness--more people should know better than to label jft as souped up mig.
