I don't think so because first 50 to 54 Jets are BLOCK I and they are enough for three squadrons @Sulman Badshah

People if first 50 Jets are BLOCK I than I don't think this squadron is BLOCK II @Oscar and @DESERT FIGHTER

What did happen to all the PROTOTYPES ?

PT-01, PT-02, and PT-03. PT-04, PT-05, and PT-06 Are we using them as trainers or still as Test Plattforms ? Can we integerade them in a regular squadron as air defence fighters ?

Can't say for sure but all Porto types before PT-4 were non DSI so there is no chance of these to get inducted as trainer platform,

secondly each PT had its pre-defined role & purpose for which it was used

but about PT-1 I think was put on display in Beijing Museum ....

Pakistan has only 50 CM-400AKG in the inventory. Dont know such a small number will be useful.

50 CM-400s are more than enough.. with 100 802s as well. The enemy doesn't have 100 to 150 warships.
A few high profile hits in the Arabian Sea will be enough to give us the upper hand at sea assuming we achieve air superiority.

If memory serves me right then Squadron # 2 - Minhas was already stationed at Masroor.

No. 2 Squadron was formed and has been stationed at PAF BASE MASROOR ( Previously called PAF Base Mauripur ) since 1956.

apart from pt-04 - PAF version and Pt-06 - PLAAF testing aircraft
all the other aircrafts are probably destroyed or are way beyond past their airworthy limit. Prototypes are made to be destroyed. That's their purpose.

This is a 3rd squadron. CCS gets its aircraft from other operational squadrons. they don't get to keep them. These aircraft are rotated regularly in order to ensure less stress on each air frame.

So now PAF is having F16, JF17 & old dying fleet of Mirage. PAF should replace Mirage wil J10B or with SU35, if they are truly offered by Russia to Pakistan.
