Price increase from $15m each to $25m each is huge 60% increase between version 1 and 2

Surely the improvements have to much more than the following



Can somebody confirm what is the improved avionics eg is it a new radar
Most of the improvements seem cockpit related rather than airframe or engine and thus 60% is a huge cost increase if just cockpit.

are we talking pesa radar etc.

cost increase rated between $ 20-25 million, and cost will depend on demand of avionics suite.

@fatman, i wanted to ask if the new electronics complex that was to come with chinese help has been completed. If yes is it functioning to its full potential. One more question, i read somewhere in the forum that another production line for jft was to come up at nawabshah. What is the update? Thanx..
