Jf 17 can pick up 4000 kg on its wings. 1 raad missile with conventional warhead us 1100 kg approx and nuclear war head is also around that figure although hughly classified. So theorically JF 17 can pick up 3 raad missiles with 1 fuel tank

In a strike formation only 3 to 4 aircraft carry stand off missiles. PAF plans to integrate chinese cruise missiles of more than 1900 KG on each wing.

RAAD is just a start.


Babur 4 is 1500 KG with length of 6 meters. Even 2 of those can be carried by jf 17. 1 under each wing.

than this will help thunder to carry better weapon payload
ie AA & AG weapons
PL-15 & Raad missiles
otherwise thunder bk-3 will be same like bk-2

You also would know why the japanese took a perfectly designed F16 enlarged it and changed it to meet their specs

External load has gone up from 36-3700 kg to 43-4500 kg max take off weight gone up from 12300-12700kg to 13500kg or 13.5 tons per specs in Paris

Wingspan on b model has increase About a meter per avic website for all chines products, not sure if block 3 will also have same wingspan

It's not going to be redesigned for BLK3 I think that has been reiterated multiple times.

What i studied at all 3 of my umiversities is irrelevant. Are you trying to tell me that a JF 17 cant carry and deliver two RAAD missiles with combined weight of 2200 KGs and just 4.5 meters length? Leaving the landing gear problem aside which is being looked into.

The relevance comes in the Physics of the utility like weight and balance rollover factor.

You sound very smart and agitated but you dont look like someone who understands machines very well.
That is why i asked.
i want to know how is it possible fir university educated pakistani to be so lacking in knowledge in weights and distribution of weights on machines and what are the consequences of unbalanced weight distribution

we dont know is short answer, long answer is ground clearence

however, would take much to make a new weapon for jf17, i am pretty sure there are replacements already in service, we know about REK, and the unamed SOW that was shown in feb

Raad is simply a nuclear weapon and there is no need for thunder to carry it since we have 100s of mirages that can carry it and Raad is suppose to be SOW weapon launched from within pakistan

Yes 3 times for all 3 of my degrees
