I am no expert, instead of any suggestion i have a question, don't u think adding 2 hardpoints under the inlets will compromise the the reduced RCS factor that is the basis for a DSI intake? isn't it possible to apply MIRV sort of Tech for AAMs, i mean to say instead of firing 2 seperate missiles on one or more targets in a group, what if an AAM is developed which serves as a primary booster rocket for the embeded two warheads or semi close action missiles and when that rocket approaches the target plane or target group of planes then these embeded missiles split apart and their individual track and kill sensors or radars start working independently and they either follow the same aircraft or two seperate aircrafts and bring them down? is it possible or already being done anywhere in the world?....

Exactly my point! Adding two missiles to the DSI intake is a very unlikely scenario. It will adversely affect the intended purpose of the DSI intakes. Sounds like an interesting concept. AAM with multiple warheads. I haven't heard of any AAM with a multiple warhead capability.

Hello..sir MuradK check this out
The AJ 37 has seven stores pylons, including a centerline pylon; a pylon under each engine inlet; and two pylons on each wing outboard of the main landing gear. There is provision for a third outboard pylon under each wing. Maximum external load is 7,000 kilograms (15,400 pounds). An external fuel tank is almost always carried on the centerline pylon.
AirToAirCombat.Com: AJ-37 Viggen Saab Viggen Origins
the article has some details of which i took the para specifically explaining about pylon under inlet for carrying missiles and vice versa..

Hi,

Truthfully---paf is more concerned about having this plane become operative in the first sqdrn strength and then go furhter with the completion of the first order.

I donot see any changes in the status quo. 9 hard points are a lot for this size of plane. Guys this plane is just a little baby---let us treat it as such---it will grow in time.
