I have a question nabil, if JFT final block II as is called now if it is a redesigned or majorly redesigned airframe then is there any significance left in getting J-10B/FC-20...considering more money supposed to have been channeled to JFT program.

Or maybe to they are required now because we might see US sanctions sooner then we expected.

We arent preparing for anything, the Americans and Nato can do whatever they want, even if our fleet was double the size of what it is right now, considering their combined armed assets. I think it is meant more as a moral booster and to show foreign powers that the Chinese are willing and able to provide military aid on a short term basis...in turn, hopefully preventing any American adventures on the eastern side of the Afghan border.

Hi Luftwaffe,

I think the purpose of getting j-10s is that they are capable of carrying much more load than JF-17s. That means more pods, cruise missiles, A to A weapons, bombs and fuel. PAF's version of IAF's SU30 sort of.

JF-17s can then be interceptors and escorts.

they are preparing a case against us in a hurry to get what they want i.e. to declare our Nukes as "unsafe" and take control of them to "protect" the world from "terrorism". We are only retaliating to this likely scenario. Next 4-6 months are crucial!!

FC-20 has to prove its worth it will take long long time so will thunders, we are stucked between too old and very very new of which we has no full grasp of its technology, So far it seems there isn't any doctrine of the Air Force.
