Why do you all think CAS did not give any definitive answer to Alan Warnes regarding PL-15? Any guesses?

I already know the answer. It would be interesting to know your thoughts.

One thing for sure is that PL-15 has been allowed to be exported.

Are unused SD-10s physically upgradable to PL-15 like in terms of recycling and reusing frame?
My guess is a definite no but still asking

JF-17 is China's opportunity to sell main platform and plethora of auxiliary military hardware which works on it. JF-17 is not a "guarded technology" from China' point of view. It is a great piece of hardware meant to be sold. As long as they are not empowering an enemy, they will be happy to sell it to everyone.

Imagine if USA had produced F-16 and but had not inducted it. This is what JF-17 is to China.

Guys ... can you please stay on topic? these constant endless discussions on anything general like export prospects, future speculations and so on are annoying especially since we have for nearly each of this topics an own individual thread.

If there is simply nothing new for the Block 3, then better not post any stuff that is off topic or post it please in the appropriate threads.

PL-15 has been allowed to be exported already. And PL-15E was also planned to be showed at Zhuhai Airshow-2018, but it was cancelled at the last moment.

But it is not sure that whether PAF has obtained PL-15 already.
