JF-17 and Israel.

. .
JF-17 would be a bigger threat to Israel than Egypt's F-16s...Go figure.

.
Fellows,

as i red earlier , israel interest, when we will sell it to Egypt.

They just bought Mig29 (financed by Saudia)... So they will not buy JF17 cause they are not allowed to compete with Mig29 as per export restrictions.

.
Not a question of getting orders. But obviously JF-17 is a potential adversary in a war theatre so they have the right to evaluate the level and potential of threat.

I admire the Israelis because they know how to safeguard their national interests. They never wipe all the options off the table and that is exactly why against all odds and in such a hostile neighbourhood, they have not only been able to survive but flourish! We could probably learn a thing or two from them. Our ethnic and linguistic differences are menial when as compared to their's but their national integration and cohesion is praiseworthy because they take pride in their national identity. The reason for which is that they keep the memory of their suffering fresh, we like sheep love to be lead to our own slaughters. In Israel a single rocket is enough to solicit an invasion, here we have nearly 60,000 killed in a conflict that has ravaged this nation and shaken it to the very core of it's foundations and our brightest minds are still arguing if it is indeed our war.

Hi,

The israeilis will neutralize the nay sayers. They know to nip the problem in the bud---strike deep---strike hard relentlessly.

Paks cannot even see the problem even though it maybe staring them right on their faces.

They don't have weak knees like the pakistanis----israel is first & foremost for them----for pakistanis---pakistan is nothing but a slogan.

:D Oh Come on!!
When will we start taking things a little lightly and in good sense?? It was a pun and i liked it. :)

HOWEVER, US - Saudia ties are a fact just likt US - Israel are...

smelling some more conspiracy??

PLEASEE :)
The Saudis will make their own versions of JF-17, with their own avionic suits and electronics, weapons too. Do you really think that they will provide any secret informations to the US, when it comes to their own defense? The answer is no , but the components they will order from the EU or the US will be known and won't be of as much interest to Usrael as the Chinese systems.

They won't buy the JF-17s they will make them in a JV.

JF-17 and saudi buy is history it was "you carry out our orders we buy a few to please you" it did not work, saudis are not happy at Zarb e azb neither are US unless fresh information is leaked.

Opinion is it would be worst sales to sell JF-17 to KSA as merely an airframe it would be blow to the JF-17 product rest of customers would say what is wrong with current configurations one got to satisfy their customer the only thing Pakistan should allow is foreign weapons integrations to the current systems...as much as we know right now saudis won't do JV with either Chinese or Pak for now...a complete Block II costs $22-25m if you take out most systems/radars it is just an air frame/wiring and and so on it would be a loss to Pak/China no one is going to sell it for 8m-10m airframe.

First, thank you for reminding me what i post a year back and bringing it up now :P

on a serious note, the Saudi JF-17 deal never went forward and turned out to be rumor only. For time being the sole focus is on meeting PAF needs since FC20 deal is pretty much dead so JF-17 have that much more importance for PAF. Once we are into Blk IV Blk V then may be there is some serious aggressive marketing that may lead to exports (if that is not too late for a fourth generation fighter, that said, JF-17 also ave all the potential of evaluation with time and with upgrades can keep pace with the fighter jet market, no country will be switching to % fifth generation any time soon)
