Jewish mob beats up IDF veteran for speaking Arabic

I heard their religion is secret. And that they aren't Muslim. Apparently they worship private parts. I might be wrong but a Jordanian told me that.
Misinformation about religious groups has been behind much of sectarian strife throughout history; today is no exception. We should make an effort understand things from direct experience rather than outsource our views to other people whose knowledge (or integrity) we can't vouch for.

Like other Ghulat sects, the Druze are secretive - including amongst one another - but information about their beliefs and practices has been leaked for hundreds of years. There are many differences Druzes and mainstream Islamic sects but none so gross as those you mention. Rather, they appear to be a typical mystical sect - pledging alliance to the religion's major pillars but reading them more as metaphors than as literal truths. They also appear to revere certain Greek philosophers as prophets, but then again, many Islamic thinkers have drawn inspiration from that source as well.

Like another user said before, however, it's true that the Druze tend to submit to whoever is in power in their country. That is common behavior among the Ghulat sects. That's why in Israel they're usually more Zionist than other parts of the Arab population. But in Lebanon, on the other hand, they're pro-Palestinian and I know of a poll showing the average Druze is as warm towards your cause as the average Sunni Muslim, even though Palestinians don't wield any power in that country. Even in Israel, in effect, there are Druzes who identify as Palestinian and refuse to take up arms against those whom they see as their people. These Druzes - here's one example - have paid dearly for their choices.
