In Pakistan you aren't allowed to question the Palestinian narrative as doing so is currently considered a challenge to the ideology of Pakistan, to be forestalled by state institutions.

The U.S. had a similar problem in the nineteenth century when, following a local slave rebellion, the southern slave states forbade discussion of Abolition. Over the next generation, political competition in these states became a matter of who was more pro-slavery than whom. Ultimately the result was the U.S. Civil War. (Had the Confederacy been successful it planned to conquer Cuba and much of America south of the Rio Grande.)
