When I confronted them, ANC representatives defended their support of the PLO as a necessary counter to Israel's de facto alliance with the old apartheid regime. But after so many decades its gone far beyond that: since Durban 2002 at least the ANC has mobilized antisemitism (even if it's just focused upon Zionists) as a cost-free political tool. The cost, as usual, is the soul. Catholics can commit evil and go to confessional to ask forgiveness, pleasing such men as Bishop Desmond Tutu, but unless I'm mistaken in Catholic theology that doesn't give the penitent license to keep committing the evil.
