Its not a problem whether they have Indian or Pakistani passorts. The fact they were muslims and there are muslims ready to bomb the most holy of our mosques proves that there are people amongst us who are very demented, whose brains have been rotted with traditional, conservative and orthodox beliefs. If we do not promote equality and an egalitarian society we are doomed. Is this what is left of the people of Ibn Rushd? We are a joke of what we were during the years of our successes, when we muslims ruled the world.
Many Pakistani members, my countrymen abuse me for my views on Lucknow but it is true that muslims across the world have to work together. If the Pakistani governments had ever even offered to use help from separatists from Lucknow the wars might have gone very different. Today muslims of Indian occupied parts have a negative opinion of Pakistanis and Pakistanis of those there just because both found themselves on different sides of the border. The new batch of Indian muslims who insult Pakistan are the children of Islamabad's policy of not treating these people as part of us and letting them fall under the Indian hindutva sphere of influence. Yet I know many who support Pakistan.
Coming back to topic we need to unite as muslims against terrorism. It has eaten our society alive! Only when we deal with our problems and reestablish Ijtehad we will be able to rise again. Secularism is the answer, not the problem.
