An army jawan who was injured in Pakistani shelling along the LoC in Naushera sector of the district succumbed today while four others were injured in overnight ceasefire violation.

"An army jawan, injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops, died late last night in the hospital," a senior army official said.

Four jawans were also injured in the shelling last evening.
Yesterday, an army jawan was killed and two others were injured as Pakistani troops shelled Indian posts and civilian areas along the Line of Control in Naushera sector of Rajouri district following which three posts of Pakistani army were damaged in retaliatory action by the Army.

In another case of ceasefire violation yesterday, Pakistani troops indulged in unprovoked firing in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district from around 1345 hours.

There have been over 100 ceasefire violations on Indian posts and civilian areas along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir after the surgical strike.

The worst-ever Pakistani shelling took place on November 1 when 8 persons were killed and 24 others injured along the IB and the LoC in five sectors of the state, forcing Indian troops to give befitting reply by destroying 14 Pakistani posts and killing two of their troopers.

The state government had closed over 400 schools along the International Border (IB) and the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu region in wake of the ongoing heavy cross-border firing.

A total of 20 people, including 12 civilians, have been killed and more than 83 suffered injuries in Pakistani shelling and firing along IB and LoC in Jammu.

So 1 died on Tuesday while 1 guy who was injured on Tuesday died on Wednesday??

Is this true??

.
now modi has a fanatic friend in USA. we should gear up for consistent LOC violations in future and with greater intensity.

Ironically, India never disclosed any casualties on the day it carried out the so called surgical strikes, but since then, it has been admitting to the deaths of it's soldiers virtually every other day.
Don't you smell something fishy then? I clearly do. Else no one acknowledges deaths and injuries left right day and night

The pattern being built is slow but sure to climax with a false flag. Sufficient ground work for a massive public demand to act will be on a high and another Parakaram will ensue if not Surgical v02

There is no match in this world for our gunners.:pakistan: Don't have ill feelings for fallen Indian soldier but Indian people must ask their leaders stop this aggression to save your own jawans.
did u ask this question to your leaders when Maj. Gen. Tahir Masood of your SSG disclose the actual causality figure is 780 KIA for your SSG alone in just 2 years, while your army ISPR is hiding the real causality to save the moral of the pakistan army and the people? no isn't it??
as for the indian causality, our jawans are guarding the border from terrorists.. so they are sacrificing their life to save their fellow indians from pakistani terrorists, and we all know that indian army is retaliation and taking out those who are firing at them... but as always Pakistan army is hiding the casualty indian army inflict on them, and we are not very unfamiliar with this nature of paistan army.. are we? we have seen this in every war, even in kargil war they reject all the dead body of Pakistan army soldiers.. and every one should remember that when one indian army soldier killed by pakistani firing, indian army also makes sure that equal or more number of pakistan army soldier will also killed.. that is the way things goes in LOC.

so u are agreeing that a surgical strike did happend..
for ur kind information, there was no causality on indian side during that direct action mission.
you should at least use your brain before typing this BS as surgical strike happen a month ago. what makes you think that indian army is disclosing the casualty now, as causality of loc firing after 1 month?? is this is how pakistan army disclose their causality?? as some of your family members are in pakistan military you must be familiar with their methods of reveling the casualty army and may be you are saying this because that must be the way pakistan army disclose causality. but that is not the way we do.. if any soldier lost life, indian amy revel it. we respect our soldiers and most importantly we don't denies dead bodies of our fallen soldiers..

Only 400 soldiers have died and that includes Paramilitary and Armed Forces and Police Para Military FC also. The Major General was misquoted the number he told was not just of Zarb e Azb but of past 2008 and 700 are all troops not just SSG.

this is what he said. no way a maj. Gen. makes such a mistake while talking about the sacrifice his men done in the 2 year long operation.
That’s what Pakistan did in its nearly two-year Operation Zarb-e-azb targeting al-
Qaida and its offshoots in North Waziristan, at a tremendous sacrifice of some
780 special forces, according to Maj. Gen. Tahir Masood, commander of the
Pakistani Special Services Group (SSG).

:blah: :blah: :blah:
Rather than just mouthing off nonsense, first acquire some comprehension to understand the psyche of a post.
I referred to your big adventure as the so called surgical strikes.....that doesn't mean it happened or i agree to the Indian nonsense.
Yea, you didn't suffer a single causality since your defence minister claims they were Hanuman soldiers.
Isn't it ironic that you claim that several dozens soldiers carried out the strikes several miles inside Pakistan for several hours and all returned unscathed yet a single Chandoo is picked up instantly when he crossed the border.
Although Pakistan did claim some half a dozen Indian casualties on 29th September but since then it has never made any claims unlike your army which gives out ridiculous figures on daily basis, but doesn't have an iota of proof to back it's claims....but just the numbers keeps the Indians happy.....so just thrive on all the BS that's being fed to you.....but don't forget to count the cost.
