Give them OBC and finish this non sense. For general category it will have not effect. Giving Jats OBC quota means more competition for those who already in OBC.
What will happen if every community in India starts getting violent untill they get reservation? Its best to remove quota/reservation completely and unpivileged should be given financial and education help rather than quotas.

The government has agreed to grant OBC status to Jats, who have led violent protests across Haryana since the last eight days. The government's decision came after Home Minister Rajnath Singh met leaders of Jat panchayat in Delhi today evening.
