Stop getting into d*ck-measuring contests over missiles --- spend less on defense and more on your domestic infrastructure, healthcare, and to end homelessness and poverty in your own 'first world country.' That would be something to brag about.
I would hang my head in shame if I had the biggest, fastest, shiniest defense toys and homeless, poverty, mediocre infrastructure (relative to many other first world countries), and no universal / free healthcare in my country.
My 2c.
5 LRHW launchers delivered by the end of 2021. The first battery will achieve IOC in FY 2023.
Talk about miss placed targets. The US passed a $1T infrastructure bill last year, and homelessness makes up less than a quarter of 1% of the US population.
The US spends only 3-3.5% of its GDP on defense, while it was spending 6% during the Reagan years.
The US also has a GDP per capita of $70K. One of the best in the world, and no other country close with such a large population.
Talk about miss placed targets.
Have a look at US crumbling infrastructure and schools.
When ever I visit US,one thing is common it’s not 1st world country by any means.
The US just invested $1T into its infrastructure.
If it’s not 1st world, then I don’t know what first world is. The only other countries with a similar GDP per capita are countries with tiny populations.
There’s few truly “poor” people in the US. Even the “poor” here will have smartphones, PS5s, and wear Nike Air Jordan’s.
The homeless in the US make up less than a quarter of 1% of the US population. And most of those are drug addicts, alcoholics, or have mental health issues which don’t allow them to maintain a job.
Japan is going to take revenge for the loss during WW2 to China.
Despite their being nuked by USA, but their heart and hatred are toward the Chinese people.
Especially those people in Nanjing.
For years they have been humiliated by the Communist propaganda over the Nanjing massacre.
You probably think that this is not right.
But do you think a jailed criminal never hates the victim who sends them to jail?
It can happen, and it's not a rare thing.
All PRC has to do its give up claim on Taiwan and compromise on 9 dash line. Japanese care about pragmatic results. Humiliation stuff sounds like CCP propaganda, not Japanese thinking.
Very different example. Example of Kuril is more like Senkaku island. If the PRC wants to maintain their claim on Senkaku islands, then w/e. Okinawa people are part of the electoral franchise and have more control over their fate than places inside mainland China even such as Tibet and Xinjiang.Japan needs to show it by liberating Okinawa first and voluntarily giving up the Kuril Islands.
Both China and Japan are actually having the same problem, but are equally blind by their own problem, and at the same time unable to justify what others are doing.
Very very funny.
