Japanese Supermen? Life expectancy for men and women in Japan at highest ever

He did that on his first try?I don‘t believe it...

You must have been playing a lot of videogames with Aquino lately:azn:

May I ask who's that guy in your avatar? I ve seen quite a few indian members using that same guy as avaters these days, wonder what's going on, lol..

The former Indian president Abdul Kalam, he passed away this week :(

. . .
Must be due to high sea fish and somewhat raw vegetables intake combining with high quality lifestyle.

Life-span has several important factors: genetics, nutritional intake, health care. East Asians in general has slowly metabolism and ages slower than African, Caucasian population. As the result of early economic success, Japan also has one of the best health care and nutritional intake among East Asians. Hence the life-expectancy is pretty long.

My grandfather lived up to the age of 87. My great grandmother lived till age of 93.

I have a lot of grand aunts and grand uncles still alive and are in their upper 80's.

I hope I inherit this longevity. lol.

Don't ya worry - hopefully we can upload ourselves in our freshly built clones and become in essence immortal.

Immortal Nihonjin does have a ring to it, right? :)

One thing is exercise and physical activity. My Ojisan (grandpapa) was always active. He taught all of us his grandkids the art of Kendo, and when we were visiting his house on weekends, he would always take us out to the woods to camp, or take us to the streams close by and go fishing. So active lifestyle was central in his life and in how he raised his own children, grandchildren. Ojisan did not eat too much meat; in fact, he would always chide me for liking to eat beef or pork; he was always more on the plant-based diet, or fish. Imagine the last time i visited him prior to his passing, he was still walking, didn't have any health issues that I knew of.

Don't ya worry - hopefully we can upload ourselves in our freshly built clones and become in essence immortal.

haha, its interesting to consider my friend. But to live forever? No, wouldn't want that. I would like to someday join my grandfather in our Family Tomb, where my spirit will be with my family spirits --- for time everlasting. Where i can be with my Ojisan again, and to see him again. :)

Beautiful thought!

And what about you? Who thinks you can win a war without being harmed or even touched by China's enemies? :chilli:

Besides, if I am going to play with that Minion look-a-like for a president, I would beat him in video games! :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:
