Japanese Court Says Cheating on your Wife or Husband is OK As Long As Its For Business Purposes

what you are saying is an "open" relationship, it's quite popular in Europe, I once in an open relationship with a German Girl. Basically it's purely sexual.

They even have open marriage too, but let's not get into that

Not quite open because open implies that both partners know when each other has sex with someone else. My view is an acceptance that it will happen but a hiding of when and who it happens with. Knowing will affect a relationship because it is always in the back of your mind that he/she has slept with this person. But if you don't tell that you are then the mind is ignorant to it. Also nothing like a swingers relationship, that disgusts me.

I know what is extra-marital affairs.... and it really could destroy a family.

I don't know why some are even considering adultery to be legalized. Even if it is a means for financial support, it is still morally WRONG.

.
Yes, What law did a person who committed an adultery act had broke in Japan?? Or in China even?

It's one thing to be okay with, should you do it is another question. It's Ok to do something does not always mean you should do it. It's ok for you to dig your hand inside someone else toilet, does that mean you should do it?

Lol I'm not the one who dig into someone else's toilet, go say that to the Viet guy (OP), and as matter of fact, you westerner are so good by digging on China's toilette story and then trying to paint China as evil or trying to make China look bad, I just mereley point out no matter you're trying to explain, the conclusion is still the same.

The conclusion is the same because this is the RIGHT WAY in terms of law.

I don't know why you keep asking. Do you think the woman should be compensated? It's not about making China look bad (I don't know where that come from anyway) it's about Law and Legal Matter

You don't prosecute people for Adultery, not in japan, not in the US, not in China, maybe in some middle eastern country. That's the basis of law.

I would consider saying otherwise is actually disrespecting the Chinese Legal System, so in effect, you are the one that making China look bad

.
Hence the importance of prenuptials. But to the topic, Japanese Judicial System is not biased based on religious custom or what have you, it protects one irrespective of one's profession or upbringing. I think the Justice System made a right ruling. As to marital affairs; i will reiterate the importance of prenuptials and choosing the right partner.

So prenuptial arrangements is a must for you too? :D

Japanese Judicial system is interfering with Shinto culture :D

Whenever you try to take a critical opinion of tradition/culture with present general logic, there will be a conflict. Best is to avoid that conflict as much as possible.

That is a non-negotiable factor.

Japanese juris culture protects every part of society, from the highest to the lowest. As for entertainers , they are well regarded and highly respected. Be they Geisha, to bar singers, bar performers et cetera. It is different in Japan from other countries where there is a negative association for being an entertainer (adult entertainer, musical entertainer etc).

Prenuptials are imho only for people that have a vastly skewed income towards one partner, which I feel is also incredibly wrong. People should marry equals in education, wealth (maybe opposite in personality because Paula Abdul says so :) ). Therefore, the prenuptial won't exist because the inequality won't.

Precisely. :)

I have properties in the 'states, Japan, as well as a summer condo in the Philippines. I would not risk parting with any of these in the event that my marriage were to fail. I can support my children, but I will not risk loosing my properties.

Nowadays, its best to protect yourself legally, my friend. Don't ever let relationship passion render your mind in the "clouds". I've had plenty of friends who learned the hard way.

True. Can't get blind sided. I'm still very young and a few of my HS friends have gotten married and divorced already.

Society is incredibly broken due to selfishness.
