There is a very high grade and intense pressure being built up from the CAPITALIST WORLD. They see Brexit as their own loss. US is also doing the same, but in the background at the moment.

EU was fundamentally favouring Capitalism.

Brexit is very likely to undermine it.

More BS from the remain supporting Independent. Yes Japanese firms have expressed their desire for us to stay but it didn't happen and May has secretly assured the industry it will be safe, it's just that know one knows what the deal is about.

I think this really ups the pressure for a second referendum on leaving the EU.

But why? It's never going to happen and you only need to look at what the experts say and people's views remain entrenched.
If people don't want to leave then they can go live in an EU state of their choice. I'm not being funny here but the rest of us who voted out do not wish to be part of the EU superstate.

Did not realized Japan has such balls , to demand UK to do something times have changed I guess

They said something and we didn't listen. I don't think Japanese quite understand things past the £ sign. Let us just have them open up unrestricted mass, low skilled migration to their country and then we will listen to what they have to say. We all know how fond the Japanese are of diversity .

I dont think UK will leave EU. It causes too big damage on UK economy and add the fact that the UK is steerd through this chaotic process by absolute incompetent Theresa May...

It is leaving and our determination is iron, the rest is just delusional dribble from people who have no idea of how strong the people feel about it i.e. the leave voters. The damage is debatable, but there are also great rewards i.e. our opening to the rest of the world for trade, which has been stifled under joint customs agreements.
I will agree that May isn't great, but she's getting on with it.

Actually if another vote was held this summer, people would vote to Remain. Remember the referendum was 51% to leave with 49% to Remain. Plenty of leave voters voted Leave on the basis there would be no economic damage in the UK. Now that pound has slumped and inflation has gone through the roof this is real pain that people are feeling while on holiday or at home.

As for mass immigration that was not the EU's fault but that of the Labour government who did not exercise the right to keep out Eastern Europe EU citizens for 7 years from 2004-2011. Both France and Germany kept their borders closed to Eastern Europe till 2011.

I don't think so we have Toyota and other japanese factories in Turkey for a long time now and Turkey was never part of EU.

Turkey has special customs free agreement with the EU and I'm sure UK will have even better agreements.

The world doesnt want trade with the UK. May got dubbed from US, Japan, India and China as well. What stays?

In end effect the UK will either stay in UK or formally leaves on paper but let evrything it was like before.

Nissan to increase production at Sunderland plant by a fifth

Nissan will increase production at its Sunderland plant by a fifth and double the amount of parts it sources from within the UK in an attempt to offset higher costs following Britain’s withdrawal from the EU.

The Japanese car giant will step up production by 20pc to around 600,000 vehicles per year, the Nikkei Asian Review reported.

Interesting...Japan alone cannot influence UK but if some other countries like China and USA are also exerting pressure on Theresa May, it would be difficult for her to ignore. I would wait & see..
