Despite of all the development, to be honest, it still better to be Taiwanese than mainlander. More undeveloped, poorer, lack of culture, bad society, etc.




That because you asked them in China and you tell them you are mainlander. Of course they will politely answer it. It's different at behind. But even at worst they will not condemn mainlander so badly either, they just very concern because you are Chinese too.

People can actually tell the different between mainlander and Taiwanese. Even taxi driver in China know you came from Taiwan. Body language, fashion style, dialect, and face.

We always consider @Wholegrain @Grand Historian @TaiShang as Chinese, but not you.

But most taiwanese which I have associated with don't have an issue with Chinese. They even say, we speak the same language and we are separated by two different governments systems. Basically, they are simply Chinese in a land called "Taiwan". Can one tell the differences between a taiwanese and a Chinese besides just living in two different lands?

you met the good ones, the girl I met told me we are from different countries but speak the same language, these people are really pathetic, even many foreigners cannot differentiate all the east and south east asians, not to mention taiwan and china.

No the blogger said the couple in the pics were just posing for the blogger, probably just random couple to the blogger. @Nihonjin1051 claim the blogger is his friend. We can know the truth by asking the blogger if he is really friend with the guy in the pic.

That is highly unlikely. We all know this @Nihonjin1051 is a fake Japanese. He takes a random picture from a blog and then claims he's 6ft 1". From the picture he looks more like 5ft 8" which is no where close to 6ft.
Also the blog pictures says 2011, but he claims he was there for a Japanese festival in 2013, so the question is, how did he get the picture taken in 2013 and then got it uploaded in a blog in 2011? Time machine?
