Lool Are you joking or being sarcastic bro?
Japan is rich because U. S helped them like S. Vietnam? LMAO
it reminds me of people who say Europe is rich because of the over 100billion dollars marshal plan loan the U S gave Europe after World War ii, as if 100billion can make a whole continent develop.
Japan since over a century has been a world power, who was as powerful /advanced as major western powers like my country, France, Russia, U. S, Japan was a world power and a colonial power when Vietnam was still a French colony (after being a Chinese colony /vassal for almost a century) , then Japan even ruled Vietnam briefly as well.
Japan is still the most advanced and developed country in Asia, it has almost 3times the economic size of your Russian patron despite having slightly less people, no natural resources and a small tectonic geographical landscape (over 15-20times smaller than Russia in land size) .shows you just how inefficient your Russian patron is, sonce they are farrrrrrr less productive than Japan, cant even imagine what they will be today without their natural resources. loool
So no Japan is rich /wealthy /developed /powerful today not because of the U. S, it was already an industrialised power before it lost the war, just like Germany was already an established industrial world power before it lost the war. It has nothing to do with the U S at all. If so why is the Philippines one of the poorest country(huh.....OK almost forgot Vietnam is even poorer.lol) in Asia after being a loyal U S colony for over a century now?
get your facts straight bro.
You say Vietnam was the strongest empire in the South, while Japan was nothing Lol I will let more knowledgeable chinese members to respond to you about that.
Yes we discussed ODA aid, and if you remember correctly I was a proponent of condemning the corruption /back deals that comes with it. However, Vietnam being a very poor developing country doesn't have much choice to be honest, as it lacks the financial and technological know how to build these massive infrastructure alone, so Japan's ODA aid is still better than nothing, at least it get things done (as much of Vietnam's infrastructure has been built through this Japanese aid scheme ) despite its shortcomings, international financial organizations charge even more interests/conditions on their loan than Japan. So overall still a better policy for Vietnam.
Though trade is the best way to go/develop. Vietnam is doing fairly well though, it should just keep it up and try reduce corruption /incompetence, I'm sure Vietnam will get there eventually. But trying to compare Vietnam and Japan about relevancy is the funniest thing to do ever.
