How about , we discuss Diplomacy is the best way to resolve Palestinian crisis
Or will they also get some candy and lollipop to suck on

"FRIENDS" don't bomb other friend's home or their family or their cultural sites

YEP friends

Since the 90's conflict in Iraq was about Oil the big hefty contracts , the deals the mega billions

PS:
I saw the Io Jima movie as well , they burned the soldiers alive by using flame throwers BBQ alive (Japanese soldiers) it was hardly any heroic battle. It was classic WAR madness

It was not like this epic battle of swords and and equal fight or duel , it was like here are soldiers with no food and water in bunker, ok we bring the big Flame thrower guns and BBQ the folks in bunkers from outside real nasty stuff

H.O.R.S.E shit of an article lol Japanese have been demonstrating every now and then to get the American bases of their land and move away from US led "adventures"

The biggest problem I have with the article is this "sense" of GREATNESS in one side

OH WOW look how great these folks were they destroyed 2 Metropolitan areas and then for good 10-15 years enjoyed the victory in parades and all sort of wonderful parties

Yet... here we are...now.... "friends" again ... and that is not all we deserve to be thanked as we did you a favor ?

I was like man .... So Americans did Japanese a favor by bombing the shit out of them when war in Europe was literally over and Japan was surrounded by 10,000 war ships

Find me a line that states "USA made a new Friend in Japan"
Nice one. Just a small correction. The US bases are in Okinawa , which before ww2 was under Qing China influence. The people are not Japanese. These are the people protesting American attrocities. Average Japanese too busy playing with blow up dolls, Pokémon go, and working

.
So basically if a country wants the japanese to be grateful to them, they need to drop some nukes first to japan?

.
As I have said in the past, every once in a while, there will always be those who will portray Japan as a victim. Never mind the context of the A-bombs and disregard the sentiments of the Japanese people themselves.

So basically if a country wants the japanese to be grateful to them, they need to drop some nukes first to japan?
Idiotic statements like this is why no one have any respect for you.

Well it seems the article appear to promote the idea , if you have been bombed or your nation been forcefully invaded , don't be alarmed it is being done so that after 50-100 years you can see the benefits

Thorwing all the values of diplomacy and resolving crisis with dialog

.
If one day you find the PLA tanks rolling on Wall Street and Time Square...do you think the americans will deal with their defeat as gracefully as the japanese? Somehow I doubt it...

Just wanna add up some historical facts not mentioned by the mainstream media:

The two nuke bombs dropped the USA upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki were more purported as: (i) the actual nuke testing, (ii) as a demonstration effect to the USSR to deter its ambition and safeguard the US post-WWII interests, (iii) even without the nuke bombs the Imperial Japanese armies had expressed their intention earlier to surrender and contacted the Soviet Union forces for that, yet before USSR had time to realize that surrender the nuke bombs were dropped first and the US forces made the rapid intrusion into Tokyo (before the Soviet forces).

In the early years of the US occupation forces led by the Gen. MacArthur in Japan indeed the US put the Japanese under harsh life even famine happened there. Only after the need to counter the rise of USSR/Communist was deemed imperative, the US occupation forces started to take corrective actions to rebuild Japan as an anchor counter in Asia Pacific.

Ever since the post-WWII Japan is a loyal vassal state to the US Empire, in addition to Germany in Europe. Japan can make progress in economy, technology and so on, but at least they must adhere to the US policies in two aspects: military/defense and foreign policies. So Japan must host the US military bases in Okinawa, Yokosuka (7th Fleet base) and Sasebo.

Even in the finance Japan is not independent, their financial policies incl. its central bank's monetary policies esp. the exchange rate tied to the US ones. When the economy of Japan made progress too far in the early 1980s, the US dictated the Plaza Accord in 1985 to put a sudden harsh brake to Japan's economy... recall the story of a chunk of land in Tokyo was more expensive than an estate in California and all the crazy purchases of very expensive paintings by Picasso etc by the Japanese buyers in late 1980s/early 1990s ==> SEE Yendaka or Endaka (Japanese: 円高), from then on until today, Japan's economy is under extended deflationary mode, thus the famous phrase: “Japan is a bug in search of a windshield” search JOHN MAULDIN, this economy stagnation is what Shinzo Abe has been trying all out to alter.

About the PROTECTION FEES that Japan pays regularly to the US, watch this video clip:

BILINGUAL CN-EN... Abe is paying up the protection fees through the purchases of the expensive and overpriced military equipment from the US... just watch from his own mouth before the Diet. It's said that Japan is to pay the premium price of some particular items 2X to 3X the price NATO is paying to the US.

truth is subjective, couple words don't make it truth.
So if you claim two-plus-two equals five -

So basically if a country wants the japanese to be grateful to them, they need to drop some nukes first to japan?

I suppose the reason why post-war Japan and the Philippines turned out as well as they did was because Douglas MacArthur understood their cultures so well. The respect and loyalty MacArthur inspired among Filipinos was something close to godhood. Keeping the Emperor unmolested while remaking Japan was a stroke of brilliance. Not for nothing has history nicknamed him, "the America Caesar".

Oh, the stories between MacArthur and Japan royal family were ridiculous. The emperor at that time were treated very rude by MacArthur. That's a stimulus why Japan want to gradually get more freedom from US till today.
And 'the America Caesar' failed very badly in Korea.
Research it before u post to avoid the awkward.

On the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor, Obama Has SICK Message for Victims of Japanese Attack

President Barack Obama’s apology tour cannot come to an end too soon. The Obama administration’s comments about the victims of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor are disrespectful and completely disgusting.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said it was only natural for World War II veterans to feel “embittered” about the visit to Pearl Harbor by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Then Earnest indicated the WWII heroes should basically just get over it for the sake of America.

“If I were a World War II veteran who was drafted by the United States military to go and fight for our country overseas in the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attack. I might feel quite embittered, and I think it would be a perfectly natural and understandable human reaction to not be particularly satisfied with the words of the Japanese prime minister,” Earnest said.

The Japanese prime minister will be touring the Pearl Harbor memorial with our president, Barack Obama.

Abe’s short statement about the visit said only he would pray for those who died in World War II, BizPac Review notes.

“Yes, there may be some who feel personally embittered,” Earnest continued. “But I’m confident that many will set aside their own personal bitterness, not because they’re personally satisfied by the words of the prime minister, but because they recognize how important this moment is for the United States.”

Exactly why the visit of the Japanese prime minister is an important moment for the United States remains wholly unclear. Simply because Abe is the first prime minister from the island nation to visit Pearl Harbor does not make it a significant event for American patriots.

The Japanese leader offered no apology or regret about the Pearl Harbor attack. The surprise attack cost 2,403 American lives and “awakened a sleeping giant” that brought the United States into the burgeoning World War II.

Barack Obama visited Hiroshima earlier this year for the anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on the city. The bombing saved the lives of countless American soldiers and ultimately convinced Japan to surrender its failed attempt to defeat the Allied forces, effectively ending a long war.

The Pearl Harbor attack last 110 minutes, and it began when many on the base were still sleeping at 7:55 a.m.

A total of 2,335 American service members were killed in the bombings. Another 1,143 were wounded during the Pearl Harbor attack 75 years ago today.

Let’s honor the memories of those lost so long ago as all Americans should be doing today.
