BEIJING: Reacting angrily to a report that Japan plans to sell search and rescue aircraft to India at a lower cost, China today said it would consider such a move "disgraceful" if it is aimed at pressuring Beijing over the disputed South China Sea issue.

"I have noted this report. We hold no objection to normal state to state cooperation including defence cooperation," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Hua Chunying told media briefing here today.

"But if the report is true that if someone is making unrighteous move then this is very disgraceful," she said replying to a question that Tokyo plans sell USD 1.6 billion worth of Shinmaywa US-2+ search and rescue aircraft to India at a cheaper rates to strengthen security cooperation with New Delhi.

Asked to elaborate on why China regards this sale of weapons disgraceful, Hua said "we hold no objection to state to state cooperation including defence cooperation as long is such cooperation is normal".

"But as reported that the Japanese government is to cut the price to sell weapons to India with an aim to pressurise China on the South China Sea issue and such attempt is targeted at China. If such a report is true then we don't think the purpose such cooperation is righteous".

What he'll is wrong with them? Too much panic. A- US now encircled China. Just completed with new defence pact with India

B- Japan a tiny island country invaded and conquered China. They too have defence pact with US. So them entering into war will be easy option.

C- India is just right next door it. Real competition is between China and India and India is now secured from two front war tactics of China Pakistan. This will turn into multifront war. Only time will say can China survive

To be honest, I find a majority of even the educated Pakistanis very simplistic and rustic in their thinking. An overwhelming majority of the educated ones miss all the shades of grey.

You don't find educated Indians like this ... in such large percentages.

Its as though any kind of deeper thinking is not encouraged in their youth/society.

As a percentage of their online population, percentage wise even the Bangladeshis have more deeper thinkers than the Pakistanis. Willing to look beyond the obvious.

Even transfer of Nuclear technology in illegitimate way is also graceful for them and selling search and rescue aircraft is disgraceful.

Anyway , it is nice to see china crying. Now a days china cries too much. They cried on Brahmos deployment, They cried on indo US and Indo Japan co operation, they cried on Malbar Exercise and so much whining by china now a days. Modi effect. String of pearls have disappeared in front of modi diplomacy. Aggressive and hawkish china has become defensive and complaining and whining china. I would say Modi is a super man.
