100% Agree with you bro! And no one in Bangladesh even dreams about ruining relation with China. We want China as the counter weight of US power. We all have our different POV. But, truth is truth bro...The friendship between China and BD had been lasting since BD's independence, and even before that. So I think we shall recall those good times we had together. BD and China's interests are 99% consistent. One divergence shall not ruin the overall relationship between two countries.
What insult? We are being nice not to return the insult you threw at us, you guys should know where to stop.

Is this not the same responsible member that killed its way across Asia some time ago? Oh right they’re no longer the same people because some anime has told me that. LOLJapan is fully a free, democratic country.A responsible member within the world community of nations. While China is a ruthless communist dictatorship. How can you expect a country which killed tens of millions of it's own citizen in cold blood to show any concern about human rights abuse outside it's border? You can do business with Chinese, but do not expect them to take a principled position in any global affairs. All countries in the world need to treat China strictly just as a business partner.Nothing more.
No worries. I don’t think they would want to disrupt your orgasm when you cast that sacred ballot of yours. It’s something that these Chinese wouldn’t be able to compute.I pray to God that, They never eclipse Western democracy in influence or power.Otherwise, this world will be a much much worse place to live.

It’s crazy how people just lose all common sense when they talk about China. What purpose did killing, in your words, tens of millions of its own citizens in cold blood, accomplish exactly? The Great Leap Forward that resulted in millions of death was not some political purge or any of the like. It was a failed economic reform because Mao had silly ideas of how the economy worked. This is akin to how poor sanitation and poverty have caused millions of people dying prematurely in impoverished nations. You should know better than this. Moreover, you guys have to make up your mind what it is that you like China to do here? On one hand, you regale in the fact that China has this non-interference policy but also want the Chinese to punish Myanmar for what is rightfully their internal affair? You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
But you’re right about treating China as nothing more but a business partner. They’ve been trying to tell the world this the entire time but no one was having it. The only thing that they want is for everyone to get out of their way so they can make dat money. Now if some of the deals turn out to be win-win for both parties then all the merrier. It’s much easier to do business when your partner is happy.
Does it need to take it so far to insult China?

Not a nice way to put it. The west and Japan aren't any better. They wouldn't mind bombing the hell out of us if it benefits them. Present world order is good for US and it's allies...including Japan. Thus they want to preserve it that way. But they don't mind being brutal when it benefits them. Iraq, Libya are good examples. China is the same. Actually every nation is the same. They would do what benefits them. And only cry for Moral values when things go against them. From what I get - and have seen over the years, a majority of the uneducated lower class Chinese population (and the Chinese govt. as well), have a long way to go to become as versed in human decency and civility as people in Western countries or Japan.

For us...everyone should be treated the same way. Thus US and the West(including Japan, SK) cannot be more important than China or China cannot be more important than the west. What important is what they bring in the table.
They are showing their true faces now.
And they are proving why we made a wise choice to back Myanmar instead.

Oh I understood him alright. It was the same anti-china drivel that’s been used incessantly by the West. Very much like your mutant version of the “I have a black friend so I can’t be a racist”; then proceed to unleash a barrage of pleasantries. You fail to understand the point @Homo Sapiens was trying to make.

And this is coming from a person who counts Mandarin speakers in their immediate family, has travelled in China on business quite a bit and takes an insane amount of interest in Chinese culture.
Most PDF posters are educated Bangladeshis who have nothing but admiration for educated Chinese folks and their country, in spite of a few uneducated Chinese trolls here who say otherwise.

Racist drivel is right.
At least now I know why Pakistani and Indian members of this forum dislike Bangladesh so much.

Know this. Those crass and uncouth low-end Chinese that you detest are a social phenomenon that only come about when the nation is undergoing a vast economic transformation. They see the pie getting bigger but are not benefiting too much from it. So they resort to do stuff no matter how immoral to get their fair share of it. They understand that once the pieces are in place and social mobility becomes rigid; their chance of moving up the economic ladder may forever elude them.
It’s a gold rush played out in a modern context. I can see where they are coming from and absolutely sympathize with that. But what I do not like is when people think of this as something exclusive to the Chinese and then take cheap shots at the Chinese culture.
