Jamming cell phones will not stop us: Taliban

That is an internal problem and our Police is quite capable of doing the job, maybe you should visit the thread on Indian section.

And our N Waziristan is your problem?-

Choose your words wisely- are the mighty indian army afraid of clean sweeping the moists?-

There is no demand for Indian Army to go inside the forests while there has been persistent and consistent demand for PA to go inside North Waziristan. And Indian Army is not operating in Chattisgarh and declining to go inside Jharkhand while PA is operating in South Waziristan while it is denying to go inside NW. So failed comparison.

PA is already inside N. Waziristan

Why doesnt Pakitan government just give them political representation they seek? From what I gather they want some say in the administration of tribal areas.

You understood wrong! if you are concerned about them than take them to your country.

What makes you think that the PA which is afraid to go inside North Waziristan would sign on the suicide note by going inside afghanistan ?

Are you drunk or what???

Same treatment to our dogs.... Yet India seems to like them so much and tries to save them? Whats so special about rabid dogs?

They like dogs' balls.

But most of the terrorists are hiding in your Taliban dominated northern areas, why go inside Afghanistan ?

Really ? So , who's controlling the other areas in Afghanistan except Kabul ? :azn:

why announce it then ? It only makes sense that they want it not jammed...

blocking mobile phones is similar to disrupting enemy's communication lines during a war.
It has been a succesful strategy.
It could have been a blood bath this year, but terrorists had been much less succesful than they could have been....all because their communication lines have been disrupted.

Afraid to go in NW?

Dude how many times do we have to explain it to people like you?

Going into NW is an immense expense that Pakistan cannot afford right now. I'm sure after spending so much time on PDF you might've gleaned off the fact that NW is a harsh mountainous area, making the operation infinitely harder.

Even if we do, there's a 100% guarantee that the terrorists holed up there will run into Afghanistan, and ISAF/NATO will do nothing about it.

So yes, the PA is afraid. Afraid that their efforts will go to waste and Pakistan will sink deeper in the hole it's already in.

But you have to spend where its absolutely necessary right?

I mean if the problem is happening within a section of your own country then it is your military's priorities to incur those expenses and ensure orderly running of that province, regardless of expenses.

Do you think that a military campaign in Afghanistan or any of your other troubled borders is any cheaper than this? Hardly.

In fact, if you had an idea, international campaigns are bloody expensive even if the conflict zone is adjacent to you.

You've a funny logic; contemplating that they will run into Afghanistan, you're nto going to get rid of them in your own territory?

NATO/ISAF's problems are different so naturally they won't do.

It is upto your government to strike them.

This is what will happen. PA goes into NW, the terrorists escape to Afg; ISAF does nothing about it. PA stays in the area for a bit, gets out, and the terrorists come right back in.

It has happened before. What makes you think anything will change this time?

What we need is the ISAF to cooperate and hunt the terrorists down as soon as they cross the border into Afghanistan.

Don't try to be smart a&&.
