If i cant get the actual stuff i will make do with the inferior copy.

Its a mental state. You cant argue or reason.

right. i cant imagine how many indians can afford to buy a 60,000 usd landrover. maybe indians are all wealthy with 1800usd gdp/year

For those Indians complaining just because of two cars looking alike, they should search " chak de india hollywood copy" to find out how Bollywood cheapcopying Hollywood.

By copying or not, the Chinese goods are the only affordable source to the masses of India. Go to the streets near the railway entrance in Mumbai or Spencer Plaza at Chennai to see yourself.

Now China started copying Indian Products!!!! LOL:rofl::tup::D

Why drag Indian car buyers?Did I touch a raw nerve here?

See most Indians buy indian made cars - some as cheap as 4000$ USD . And they are happy about it. You get what you pay for.Buying a car is probably the second most important investment.
They may dream for a nice bmw, but since they cant afford it, they will settle for a maruti, tata, hyundai, honda, toyota - whateva comes in their budget.

Indian society as a whole does not look to purchase cheap knock offs of established vehicle brands

Which, when you think of all the mentally sick people who pay money to buy inferior cheap knockoffs, stands in such bright contrast
As I said its a mental state. If those poor copy cat car buyers had money, they would have bought the real deal.
Till the time they cannot, and clearly cant also live without showing off the false prosperity, they will buy these garbage as a stop gap measure.

Indian made but not designed by India. Even though the landwind is a copy there was a design phase. When your country is capable of designing cars then you can disparage Chinese cars.

China man, look up on tata.
As just that you know-many maruti models sold in India are Indian designed. Post success, they are being exported to price conscious market in other subcontinents
Knee jerk reactions are not good.

china man, i suggest u get a eye check up- u pay what 10$ per paycheck for eye insurance right?

Here's the actual clone from , guess where- CHINA

Lol you delusional indian, the tata bears a striking resemblance to the smart car and you know it. You only dragged CHina in because you know of your inferiority..

And thats your logical reply?
No ...We accept we are far behind you in overall industrialization. But we dont resort to peddling cheap knock offs. You wont see the same behavior in any other asian country- vietnam, south korea, phillipines, japan.

Then you must take a pause and ponder- why ?
Anyhow my last post on this subject. The world knows better :)

Most SUV shared similar design philosophy due to dynamic shape. If that is a copy, then all model of SUV is copy of one another. LOL.
I think I can speak about aerodynamics better than you can...:enjoy:

Automotive aerodynamics are mostly gimmicks. Those body panels and wings do not really come into play until around 70 mph or 110 km per hr. Further, the gap between the car's underside and the ground pretty much render any topside body aerodynamic shaping nearly useless. Race car designers knows this and they also know that unless the car's underside is as smooth as the race car's underside, topside aerodynamic body shaping is practically nil in terms of efficiency. Most SUVs do not spend enough time at speed to make its aerodynamic shaping useful. US interstate speed limits do not allow most SUVs to go above 80 mph or 120 km per hr.

Wind tunnel testing has proved that the lower the vehicle the better its coefficient drag becomes, due to the fact that less air is able to flow underneath the chassis create drag. Elevated trucks and SUV's we see cruising the boulevards or prowling rugged terrain are a mess when it comes to creating a coefficient aero package. The greater the truck or SUV's ride height, the more drag and turbulence it's creating underneath the chassis.
Your defense of the Chinese auto makers is laughable. They may change the headlight shapes or the grill area a bit, but everyone know blatant copying when they see it.

As long as China sell these cars in China, they can't sue China company and win the copyright case in China court.
