Not many countries are willing to mess with India, and not many have the need to, either.
Canada is just a good place to live. Otherwise it is largely irrelevant in the subcontinent.

This guy is a Sikh freedom fighter. He is for Khalistan as are most Canadian Sikhs. Alot of Chinese voted for him due to his minotiry status.

He can serve Canada interests while dealing with India in his own narrative. Not a big deal. To say the change of command at the top will not have any effect, is quite childish assumption.

It's also childish to assume that Canada, with a significant Indian population, would allow a sitting pm to blatantly expose his conflict of interest, without repercussions.

He'd commit political suicide, if he brushed off India in anyway. Like I said before, Canada has ways to legally deal with politicians with conflicts of interest.
