Jack Ma makes 1st public appearance via video link since Alibaba came under tougher scrutiny

I partially agree with you but India does manage to muddle along.
For most developing countries, with similar issues, India is a positive example of growth with partial democracy.
Even Pakistan, outside pdf, looks up to India as a example to follow.
Lot of potential lost due to useless politicians and entrenched bureaucracy.

Hardly. !ndia is a negative case. It means you learn from a failure that continues to be a failure. Because, !ndia's so called muddling-through is perpetual. It is not desirable in any form. !ndian democracy is just that: !ndian democracy. Has nothing to do with Finnish or Singaporean democracy. Like any other, !ndian democracy is a relative phenomenon, not an absolute one.

Even plants evolve. !ndia's governance evolution is at plant level. But you call it muddling-through. Well, its a perpetual state of being in the mud.

!ndian perpetual low-quality development makes educated sub-Saharan Africans to be thankful for their conditions.

Like any other, Pakistan, too, should be unlearning from it.

Again you are being racist against Africans. I see it as a perpetual problem with you.

Every time I see a group of black ants running on the ground, Indian comes in to my mind.

Racism against black colored ants. Deplorable that in this day and age the color of ants can be so openly derided.

You understand it wrong. This is not racism. Black ants carry a piece of rotten leaf running here and there. Indians do the same thing, carry some West propagandas here and there. I have racism against white ants actually, white ants like to eat wood, cement, They are dangerous to buildings and furnitures.

No rule of law in the Chinese dictatorship.
The biggest businessman disappears for months and their is no explanation.
Its just north korea with a larger market.
15 Journalists were killed in India and their murders remain unsolved mystery.
It is just a sham democracy with a bigger market.

So you equate comparative analysis as being racist?

It is international institutions comparing Indian development against those of sub-Saharan Africa.

But I admit that they have better development potential.

Indian democracy is just Indian democracy. Not a gold standard since there's not a universal description to democracy. If we want to refer to Greek classics, democracy is not even considered the best political model, but an inferior one.

Nonetheless, titles mean nothing. What matters is outcomes. I know at least 600 million Indians would be happier if they were offered better life chances in exchange for giving up Indian democracy to be replaced with Singaporean democracy.

Some Indians here are too obsessed with titles, rather than content, including that super passionate Indian poster with fake Indonesian flag.
