Jack Ma Confirmed as Chinese Communist Party Member

This is why the phrase 'socialism with Chinese characteristics' is nothing but a sham. This just reinforce the world's perception that China is ideologically rudderless. The helm is useless, at best a prop for the masses. When Party members enriched themselves at the trough of capitalism...

Oh Old Gambit, how are you? I'm sorry that I've ignoring you for so long. So how's your health? Are you still sane?
But no problem. Let me tell you this,

Business men are the type of people who don't really care about ideology. There is only one thing that matter for these type of people. Profit! But they always stay near "strong people" in the country. That's not because they care about ideology or politic. But because of the safety of their business, and of course, opportunity to gain profit. That's why there are a lot of Rich people who join political parties in this world, and invest their money to make sure that the party win in the election. Because with the winning, they can ensure the prospect of their business in the future; without any problem from the authority. It's not only happen in China, but to another countries too. It's a common phenomenon.

So I don't surprise that people like Jack Ma will eventually join CCP. The thing that make me surprise is that why you replying my post with such nonsense. As I have already have ignoring you for so long.

I'm sure that you are disagree with me. So let's agree to disagree and stop being disturbing one and another.

There was an interview asked JACK MA Is the Alibaba a Chinese Company,Jack MA said that it is stupid to even ask this question,of course it is!

. . . .
My father, when visited China around 15 years ago in a high level delegation, was surprised to know that many Chinese and Hong Kong millionaire / billionaire were CCP members.

And this phenomenon is not new. Since founded in 1949, Communist China always tried to lure oversea Chinese, especially rich ones, to follow their guideline and support Beijing, rather than Taipei. And their policy received good feedback from oversea Hoa in south east asia. Under the South Vietnamese puppet government, many rich Hoa families in Saigon were Mao's followers.

It is called "Socialism with Chinese characters".

yes, somewhat hypocrite, like everything in this world, but much less hypocrite than Western regimes. At least China says clearly theirs are not a communist society and not a role model for anyone to follow.

JACK MA role model for Chinese communist party member and role model for every chinese!
How is Jack Ma the model for the 'communist man'?

Here is what Karl Marx said: From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Clearly Jack Ma, and Party members, are living beyond their basic needs. That is in violation of Marxism.

Jack Ma, co-founder of China’s most valuable company, was officially confirmed as a member of the Communist Party in a state-backed newspaper recognizing business leaders for their contributions to the country’s development.
Ma, co-founder and chairman of e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., is one of 100 people the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee will honor as part of a celebration marking 40 years since the country’s economic reform and opening up. The honorees also include Tencent Holdings Ltd. Chief Executive Officer Pony Ma, Baidu Inc. CEO Robin Li, basketball star Yao Ming and volleyball coach Lang Ping.

The lines between business and politics have become increasingly hazy in China as President Xi Jinping has led a campaign to ensure the Communist Party plays a leading role across all aspects of society. That has at time created tensions when the interests of private business people and the state have conflicted.
We’re seeing an increasingly close relationship between China’s leading internet companies and government because government sees them as one of the most effective ways to realize its policy initiatives," said Mark Natkin managing director of Beijing-based Marbridge Consulting. "Being a party member is essentially tipping your hat to the legitimacy of the party and it doesn’t necessarily denote any particularly high level of political activity."

Under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping, China began launching economic reforms in 1978 that moved away from traditional Communist doctrine and allowed for private enterprise. That eventually led to robust growth that turned the country into the world’s second-largest economy, behind the U.S.

The list of 100 people to be recognized on the 40th anniversary is being made public for review until Nov. 30, according to the People’s Daily newspaper. Beyond business leaders and sports stars, the list includes scientists, astronauts and artists.

Ma is the richest man in China with a net worth of $38.4 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Ma said in September he plans to hand the executive chairman role to CEO Daniel Zhang next year.

third priority, after customers and employees. Despite a slide in its stock price this year, Alibaba is valued at more than $400 billion and ranks among the top 10 most valuable companies in the world.

Ma has been a vocal backer of President Xi’s policies in the past few years. In 2016, he proposed that the nation’s top security bureau use big data to prevent crime, endorsing China’s effort to build unparalleled online surveillance of its billion-plus people.

After Xi last year indicated that tackling inequality was becoming as important as boosting economic growth, Ma was one of the first to respond. He told a state publication that entrepreneurs who’ve obtained affluence have a responsibility to help others catch up.

Another day, another fake news published by Bloomberg. By the way I have renamed Bloomberg, and now call it the "Rubbishberg". Keep up the good work Rubbishberg and keep making the Yanks dumber every day.

The difference is that the black cat does not claim to be a white cat, and the white cat does not claim to be a black cat.

Jack Ma -- along with all Part members -- claimed to be Marxists and yet lives beyond their needs. That make them hypocrites.

You qualify to be the English teacher for CCP.

I'm sure Xi has come up with a revised edition of the little red book.

Why don't you just shut up and accept that you guys are all cheap disposable communists? I don't want to use the word 'fake', it's too rude.
