J-K not part of India, seeking plebiscite not a crime: Engineer Rashid

For one thing, Tibet is a British mistake of name. Like they called the America native as Indian. The people in plateau called themselves Bod. Manchurian call Bod as Tsang, means pure land. Han call Bod as 西藏( Xi Zang ), means western pure land, Buddhism believer. As Tibet has been a regular habit, we so accept the name when in English. ( Please, if you didn't know that, learn and keep it in mind since now. )

China is kind and patient enough. Central govt used more than 1000 years to softly influence, unite and manage there. In 641, Tang dynasty started to ally Bod kingdom through royal marriages. The Han princess as wife of historically greatest Bod king, who has been a green tara in Tibet. The Tang-Bod ally oath stone tablet has stand up in Lhasa for 1300 years.

In Yuan dynasty, Mongolian emperor abolished Bod king, since then, there is no king in plateau again. And as condition, Mongolian believe in Tibetan Buddhism. In this religion, you may understand it is the relationship of alms giver and receiver. Since then, China central govt start and continously set local govt in Tibet to manage the affairs together with religious Lama, Panchen. In Ming dynasty, in Qing dynasty, in Repulic of China, till nowaday, the process has ben 800 years. FYI, in 1839 China-Britain opium war I, Qing had Tibetan soldiers in army fighting against British in coastal area.

By the way, Tibet is geografically blocked by the Everest mountain toward south, it had one main vast connection with northern and estern area, trading salt, tea, china, metal, textile, horse and so on.

In a country, that believes its father of nation got freedom through silent agimsha protests, from a group that did jallianwallah bagh.. Pelting stones and hurling shoes on their security forces for decades is more than enough for freedom.. It's shows how your law and order works in the state.

Ok fair enough Wish you a happy stone pelting day
