A J-7 from the Jinan Airforce crashed on May 6th due to engine failure and killed its 28th years old pilot Feng Siguan.

????????<BR>?????????????????

It's nice to see how the Chinese media seldom covers up crashes involving lost lives. I guess it's their way of paying respect to the pilot.

Hero pilot sacrifices his life for public

A 28-year-old pilot who died in a plane crash is being hailed a hero for avoiding a crowded city when his engine failed on May 6, 2010, Jinan Daily reported.

Feng Siguang was flying over Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong province on the night of May 6, with his squadron officer surnamed Zhang when the plane's engine suddenly stopped.

Instead of following his squadron officer and parachuting to safety, Feng decided to maneuver the plane away from a built-up residential area, missing the chance to bail out and sacrificing his own life.

Feng was hailed a martyr by the local government on May 7, 2010.

WTF are these craps? :taz:

Who knows which agencies (RAW?) are paying you to gather intelligence about what is going on there, why should the heck the Chinese let you fr**king spies know what they are doing?

It could be J-xx, it could be J-yy, who knows. But one thing is obviously for sure: you are obvious devastated, antagonized and frustrated by not being able to get the intelligence!

????????????? ???????????_????_???

The above link is from a popular Chinese website with photoes. You will see the pilot's wife crying in the first photo. And all your questions are answered in this news, however, in Chinese. By the way, there is no need for the censorship, as the pilot is a good example for all Chinese people.
