J-31 possibly being tested & evaluated in Pakistan

If one takes a closer look at things the "J-31" is the awaited stealth "JF-17", they are both made by the same manufacturer and specifically for Pakistan, with export options to other countries.. |They were supposed to be 250 JF-17 in total, now we hear they will be only 150, so the missing 100 might well be J-31s as that makes much sense..
Who has heard about the KLJ-7A before it was shown in Zuhair air show?
News were out about induction of the J-31 in 2018 quite some time ago.. So one should not get surprised if China surprises us again with an early induction and mass production ( in a JV with PAF with ToT) of the J-31v2.., after-all Pakistan will induct a 100 or so.. With a squadron (preferably 2 sq) of either J-16 or SU-35 for air superiority, it will make PAF a very potent air force with 200 or so AESA radars, IRST, many more advanced electronic systems and all the sophisticated weapons these fighters can carry and deliver.. exports will follow as for the JF-17, slowly but surely..

Thunder is made by CAC while 31 is made by SAC.
Paf wont induct 31 in that huge numbers.
2018 is impossible for induction...it has to go through several flight tests and wont get inducted before 2020.

Buddy u gotta understand, the us never gives its frontline weapons to states it cant controll and if one thing the americans learned from thier afghan misadventure is that the pakistani's can never be controlled nor outsmarted, we have our own unique ideological agenda which the intelligence circles never let get undermined, the Us knows by now that we ****'s are a serious threat to them in this region hence u can forget about f-35's, nor will they ever give them to us and even if they did we will never buy them as we are becoming self sustainable in the airdefence field and hell we love this freedom, moreover who says the f 35 is superior?, many american ace's and airforce high rank officials and test pilots believe it to be an over priced piece of junk which will not get the job done on the given day, lockheed now requires huge additional amounts to make the aircraft fullfill operational requirements of the usaf, the j 31 and its capabilities will remain unknown untill they are exhibited by china so its premature to make a comparsion, the j 31 might be far superior to f35 for all we know, get out of the mindset that only americans are good at high tech stuff, any nation that spends enough money and dedicates enough brain resources to a certain project can achieve what the us has been achieving inthe global defence circles, many believe that the chinese have not only close the gap but are ahead in many fields , russia clearly is far ahead of the Us in SAM tech...

correctly said...and from some months KSA is also out of their hands as the assets of saudi will be seized on the false accusations of 9/11 so thats the reason why saudi is seeking for a friendly country solution to replace its F-5 by thunders as they visited multiple times to PAC KAMRA. ..They have already said that they will invest in tfx and j31 is also possibility for them

Hell, we and the chinese can exploit this void left by sadui divorce from Us before russia jumps in, we need to totally get the saudi's to eat out of our hands just as the us did with them, sell them jf's, tanks and other equipment, post couple of brigades near makkah, the chinese should open their arsenals to the saudi's, SAM, j10b's in place of thier f 15's, once we own the saudi's we can develop any thing we like as funds will never be a problem for us again and with enough funds the pakistani defence industry has the brain capital to kick some serious ***, hope pakistan and china play thier diplomatic cards right..

The confusion was between the manufacturer of JF-17 and J-20 with the one for the J-31, I was only thinking JF-17 and stealth.. and you were right to correct it .. CAC for JF-17 and SAC making the j-31

As for news of the residents near SAC , THEY found 31001 flying very less but it had more than 20 flights for sure....especially rumours r that in july it was tested with WS-13e , supercruise engine.....but what we r confusing is that , FC31 v2 is a different aircraft alltogether with major airframe modifications so it would require its own tests....

as for jf17 stealth hoax , its imposibble to make this current airframe too stealthy like 5th gen...but some measures can be taken like silvery nozzle , RAM coating, different nose and canopy shape , more use of composites and doing something to the leading edge extensions

I think the J-31 still needs several more years. Pakistan may be better off get a Stealthy JF-17 instead.

But their will be no stealthy versions of JF-17, if their is a plan to build it is not related to JF-17 because it is structurally and mechanically different from JF-17, a totally new project, Block-3 and Block-4 will be in the same class as F-16 block-60 and F-16 block-70 respectively, in the term of avionics
