So can we NOW finally put those Su-35 rumors to rest?

. . .
So whats new. My Aircraft Diminishing Sensor (eyeballs) fail to see the point except the paint.

Most of the changes are internal. The current belief is that it adopts a new AESA radar developed by the 607th Institute (the same one on the J-15 and J-16). Its EW, FBW, and communications systems are upgraded to the standards of those of the J-16. It also is believed to have strengthened hardpoints to carry heavy air-to-surface weaponry like the YJ-12.

.
According to insider talk the jet features:
- AESA radar from 607th Institute, which has 1760 T/R modules and is the same one installed on the J-16
- More composite materials
- Upgraded 140 kN WS-10G engines
- Same EW, communications, and FBW systems aboard the J-16

In essence, it should approach the performance of the Su-35, kinematically, while possibly exceeding it in terms of electronics.

.
A more detailed look at its second-generation AESA radar reveals the following:
- It was developed by the 607th Institute
- The model is also seen aboard the J-16, and soon, the J-15B
- It features 1760 transmitting/receiving modules
- It can detect a target of 0.4 m2 at a range of 280 kilometers (or a 0.1 m2 target at 250 kilometers), which works out to a detection range of a 1 m2 target at 450 kilometers

J-11D Flanker

A further improved variant of J-11B in the same class of American F/A-18E has been under development at 601/SAC as J-11D. It features a new AESA radar and FBW systems which are thought to be based those of J-16. New generation of AAMs can be carried including PL-10 and PL-15. It might also have a RAM coating in order to reduce the RCS but this has not been confirmed. The AESA radar was speculated to have been developed by the 14th Institute and was tested onboard a J-11B radar testbed in 2014. The first J-11D prototype (D1101) took off successfully from the SAC airfield on April 29, 2015, powered by two WS-10A engines. Its forward IRST/LR appears to have been offset to the starboard side of the windshield, suggesting an IFR probe was installed on the port side, an arrangement similar to that of J-15. It is possible the earlier J-11Bs could be upgraded to the D standard in the future.

Keel has been noticeably extended and elevated, assumed to carry bigger electronic warfare components or robust on fuel payload
possibly its avionics could be equivalent to su-35s

any video? unlike j20 there r lack of motion video of j11s..
