You are Mistaken, Many Countries using Su30, but none of them can match the MKI with its advanced avionics, Cm, etc etc! They are just using the basic version of the Su30, but MKI is Specialised.

Yes the Malaysians have a Su30 which is also customised but I dont know if its on par with the MKI. the MKI is totally different from anything else. Even the Su35 borrows from the MKI. Dont think I am just a fanboy speaking here, I know what I am talking about. The Chinese Su30 doesnt come close to the MKI, and its a fact, and its the same for others.

Read on a Pakistan defense forum that the Bangaldesh Air force is lining J10 has its future MRCA.

Also been reported that Iran is speaking to china re 24 J10...

And syrians want to acquire this chinease beauty too..

Have to admit from my point of veiw at $30 million a copy its a very cost effective 4th generation fighter half the price of latest F16 Typhoon & Rafael.

I get the impression that CHINA will sell hundreds to export countries in the middle east /south east asia and beyond soon as the second version becomes operational.


CHINA have a real winner in this and they will build these in their hundreds just like F7s ... for themslves and existing clients...

The Russians have incorporated many of the developments done on the MKI onto the SU35 SuperFlanker, which is the best flanker yet. Thats why the SU35 outclasses the MKI. The Russians made the MKI an example to make the Su35. Google it, it will help.

Agreed.No Plane can match SU-30MKI.I am pretty sure it will easily shot F35, F16 Block 52.Damn I hope Indians dont sell MKI variant to Russia otherwise US will be scared.

Su30MKI is the best plane in the Subcontinent, Nothing can match it. PERIOD

SU30 MKI is not comparable to F35 or F22 as they are half a generation away, if you didnt know. A F22 would shoot down a SU30 anytime, anyhow.

F16 Block 52 is not as impressive as the MKI, But It can give it a run. I feel the Block 60, with AESA etc is the one matching MKI.

If you want more info, I suggest you ask your own Guys about it.

in my "week" view ,it would be, extermly hard for china to sell J10's to a country like IRAN , because the preasures from ISRAEL & USA but at the same time it wouldbe quiet, easy for IRAN to get used "JF17" from PAF!

under changing situations, in afghanistan pakistan can trade "JF17's" for its energy demands, its would be very easier for pakistan to do it, as compare to our chinese brothers.

again, i am not washing out the chances of J10 being sold to other countries, but countries like BANGLADESH, HOW MANY J10'S they can buy!

batmannow Sir, if Russia is able to do whatever it likes and sell hardware or equipment to Iran even when the U.S. or Israel strongly protests, then why wouldn't China be able to do so?
The stronger China gets, the more defiant it becomes of the U.S. mumbling in her business.
JF17 or J10 can indeed be exported which will add a good amount of funds to the Pakistani treasury.
However, you will always have these "hawkeyes" or attentive "eagle-eyes" among Americans or Israelis who monitor every move from our nation or other nations that trade with nations the U.S. and Israel do not trust or like.
The other way around, the U.S. and Israel are defiant of the rest of the world and are allowed to export their interests to anyone or anywhere else without paying too much attention to the rest of the world.
So why wouldn't other nations do whatever they wish?

It's an interesting development, and we will see in time what exactly will happen and how Pakistan and the Chinese will continue with the progress made so far regarding these home-made aircrafts.

You do realize the SU30 itself is not AESA equipped? oh and dont forget SU-30 have a big *** radar cross section.
