f_s your city's beautiful, though you've only posted pictures of the summer apparently. Great historical sites, and old architecture still alive in the downtown. I was expecting Izmir to be a large city, but its defo not on the scale of asian ones. Which is a good thing actually.

yes the city has a Mediterranean touch , historical, modern, liberal and at the same time very religous (we have mosques synagogues and churchs)
