This decision made by NZ and Eng to pull out has very little to do with cricket. What I mean by that is UK-NZ-Aus have learned from India that cricket can be politicized especially against Pakistan for some reason.
The cricket board, team, and staff were all in Pakistan they were ready to play the game they had been going to the stadium for training days before. However the board does not have the authority to go against the government, the government + intelligence told them there was a threat they cannot share. The cricket board could not have done anything even if they wanted to.

It's just a silly game played by a handful of countries.
Kis country ki kya haisiyat hai wo toh aise bhi pata hai. Aur match honey na hone se bohot zyada koi fark parne wala toh nhi,, other thn perception(wo toh Pakistan ki pehle se hi kya hai, apko pta hai)
I mean apart from teenagers n die hard fans who exactly has time to watch cricket(or any sport on TV) nowadays.
Itna free time kin logo ko milta hoga, ke din bhar baith ke match dekhe.(soch ke jealous hota hu).
Same teams r playing against each other, hardly half a dozen decent cricket playing nations r thr.

i think cricket bring bad name to pakistan more then anything else . its high time we should windrow ICC membership and move on . i hate this game . just google it almost all bad news insults and shame this game brings to pakistan . 206 world countries and only 10 can play cricket well . ask yourself its deserve what we did and what we earned from this game ? now its heavily politicize and money machine . i dont see it as a game . my country deserve better . if it was sport and remain sport may be we continue .i can remember all these years how whites treated us even in ground and white umpire look us down . i must say its game of slaves and masters . no matter how hard you try it will not change unless you pump billions and buy them like india did .

look at other way around . daily british airways and virgin Atlantic send b777 and b787 to lahore and islamabad . each aircraft have 20 crew . they are british nationals and daily they go to hotel from airport and 2nd team from hotel to airports for return flight without any security . they roaming on streets sometime in shops and markets there is no risk to them . but because each flight earn them money they have no security threat . when its time to play games they start excuses . same can be said for every country whom having diplomatic missions in pakistan . an estimated 8000 to 9000 diplomats and their families living in Islamabad .

did you ever heard egypt -indonesia .uzbikistan -brazil being insulted like paksitan for cricket ? no they did not because they did not play this stupid game .

FIFA is sometimes worse than ICC at places.

PM Pakistan has already lamented at the UN session about how economies are morally corrupt by design and governments inclined to economic bullying by a percentile populace enslaved by modern corporate structure.

I agree! create a parallel league and introduce cricket to other countries too. Get more countries to play in it.

I am surprised all of sudden pakistanis are worried about image of country when its listed as failed state due to having an IMF office in backyard and running around to arabs for repeated bail outs
